I wish I could give a zero rating. My recent experience at southside key Hyundai was terrible. I took my car in last month to be looked at for oil leaking. My last 3 oil changes I went to, not at Hyundai, were alarming as I had no oil remaining in my car. At the last one, they me to come in halfway and do a top off, which they had to add a lot as there was again no oil in the car. I was not able to get into Hyundai for a while so I bought a large oil container and had to add oil multiple times to avoid driving around with no oil. Just for the record, this is the third Hyundai I have had this problem with. Because of this, I have a lifetime warranty on the engine in my car. I bright it in January 6th and they checked for any leaks to see if that’s where the oil was going. No leaks were found. They stated they wanted to do an oil change and have me come back in 1000 miles and see how much oil is missing. If it was missing oil they wanted to do a combustion chamber cleaning that would cost about $950.00. At the 1000 mile mark, my car had less then low oil. On the dipstick it was dirty and blow the L. I was very worried as I did not want to drive around with no oil. I called Kyle several times to see when I can come in and see if I would need the $950 on arrival. As I am a single mom,I don’t just have that laying around. I never received a return call. My uncle finally spoke with him and we got in for Feb 14th. If I knew then what I known now, I would have done things differently. But I trusted this business as all my business has been with them for the 17 years I have been driving. The location is quite a distance from my house so I thought at this point there is probably no oil left as two days before it was below low. It took over an hour for them to “look” at the dipstick. They came back and told me the oil was fine and completely full. There were no issues. The oil looked like water. No way after driving almost 1500 miles, it the oil clear as water. Not to mention, it was checked two days prior with barely any oil in it. The filled my oil up and tried to tell me the car is fine. Now I have to go to another Hyundai who will actually do their job and I am recording my own videos to document so no one can try this bs again. I wish I would of known how they were ahead of time and I would have made them look with me when I got there and they wouldn’t of been able to screw me over. Its sad they have employees there who do this. And please don’t write me some bs response trying to say no one there would do this. BECAUSE THEY DID. So get your employees in order!!! I have a lot of family members who do business here that will no longer. And if you are reading this, go somewhere that can be trusted. Don’t get screwed over like I did!!

My faith is restored in Hyundai
Kyle restored my faith in customer service and the Hyundai brand. I just moved to the area. But before or move I had have a repair done on my car at an Orlando dealership. It was an HORRIBLE experience. It was so bad, I swore of ever buying a Hyundai again. So visiting another dealership after the move gave me anxiety. Kyle, my service advisor changed all of that. He was helpful, kind, he communicated. The lobby was clean and snacks were offered. I was in and out in 2 hours. Thank you Kyle and the rest of the Key Hyundai team!

I never do reviews!! I have had 5 Hyundai’s. I presently have the calligraphy. Paid a lot of money! 60K +. My engine light went on yesterday. It takes forever to get an oil change appt. Snowing I was not gonna get one on the phone I showed up at 7:30. I was told this..we can drive you home, but we can’t get to you for a couple of days. I only have one car. So basically they were ok with letting me go with a faulty possible life threatening situation. Meaning something could go wrong with my car and possibly cause an accident. Maybe killing myself and anyone else on the highway. This is not good customer service. The least they should have done was give me a loner. I stood in front of the service rep and said “ I don’t know what to do “. He basically said he could not help me as they were swamped. I will never buy another Hyundai. My car after 1 year is worth 24k less. Good residual value. This review was exactly what happen. I then called Orange park Hanania and they basically said the same thing. Wow!

Dishonest People
I turned in my car to have repairs done in the collision department. They made you sign this document saying that anything lost/stolen from your car is not their responsibility to be sure to remove all items from the car. I removed most of the items from my car, but when it was returned, it was clearly evident that my glove compartment and center console was internationally opened and gone through. They had no reason to be opened because my back bumper is all that was being fixed. Anything that was left in the car was gone through and several of my items were stolen. Do not trust this place. They are dishonest and will steal your belongings.

service department tried to over sell and misinformed me about a reacall for charcoal cartridge
I had a scheduled appointment for ABS safety issue. CSR I spoke with asked if I was there for ABS and oil change. I stated only ABS. I was then turned over to another CSR who proceeded to tell me that I had 2 recalls (which I disputed). He stated that he would check the Charcoal filter that also had a recall. He then proceeded to tell me that I need to leave the car and it won't be available until 4:00 pm. Why schedule an appointment only to find out that it may take all day? Why? Because they are not making money on a manufacturer recall and I believe, are trying to make money on me.
What a lack of integrity and trust! Since I was never told that it would take all day when I made the appointment (for a one hour fix), I had to leave. I was told not to bring the car back until next week.

Poor service
Took car for oil change and 3 trips later and 1000 bucks my car is still messed up Juan and service won’t return my call I bought 6 Hyundia s from different dealers I will never buy another because if this cliwn out fit in Jax don’t buy or service your car with them

Purchased a 2022 Hyundai Tucson and found a defect exterior part. I coordinated with Rudy, the service advisor and he went out of his way to insure the part was ordered from the parts department and installed on the vehicle with no problems or concerns at all. Rudy should be looked upon as a valuable player at this dealership and should be recognized as such
