Service Department is a Scam Operation preying of older folks from the Villages

Pulled in to get a Headlight bulb changed on my 2019 Hyundai Ioniq. The service manager greats you with a nice smile and that's where the Scam begins. After telling him I need a headlight bulb replaced on the driver's side (NOT the High beam) he asks you sit and enjoy a free beverage and the service department will take a look, at which point he says, "Its a $230 dollar diagnostic check charge " just to look at it...He then comes out in 10 minutes and tells me, "Sir our mechanics say there is no way to even check the headlight without taking off the front end of the car and at that point we can give you a better idea of the situation" he then says, "Thats normally labor intensive and will cost another $200 dollars plus the $230 dollar diagnostic check" , "but I'll tell you what sir, we can pull the front end off and take a look for a $300 dollar total, "but if we need to replace the bulb and lens it will be a more significant charge" I told the service manager to "give me back my car immediately and I will try to fix it myself." He then laughed at me and made me pay the $230 dollars. I then drove to a small gas station mechanic in Leesburg and that mechanic replaced BOTH HEADLIGHT BULBS for just $63.00 dollars. I then contacted the Better Business Bureau. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT JENKINS as it is a complete SCAM OPERATION. I can only imagine how many older folks from the Villages and other 55+ communities that they are ripping off daily.
