I LOVE this gym!
I love this gym! I like that it is a class environment, but you also get one on one help. There are always at least two coaches to help your form and encourage you to keep going! Everyday is a different workout so your body is always improving. My favorite part is the partner drills! It’s a great way to meet people and work on your coronation. Sign up today! Great Program
I took my first class at ILKB about three weeks ago because I am completely out of shape. I have tried several forms of exercise (Mama Bootcamp, Crossfit (yuck!!!), walking the neighborhood), but couldn’t find a thing that I could stick with long-term. Kickboxing is very different - because of the variety of exercises the workout offers, I don’t feel it will get dull as fast.
Each session is an hour long and can be broken up as follows:
~20 minute warm up (running, squats, push ups, lunges, burpees, etc.)
~5 minutes stretching
~25 minutes bag work (punching, kicking)
~5 minutes partner drills
~5 minutes stretching
At each session there are about three coaches present who will walk around and help participants improve their techniques. I was pleased to see people there of all ages and fitness levels. I would say the average age of the participants is about 35-40 years old. Staff is super welcoming, friendly, and supportive of any newcomers and present members.
The gym itself is very nice as well. The main room has about 22 bags and so far it has not been so crowded that I’ve had to share with anyone. While the classes are co-ed (although predominantly female), there are two locker rooms, one for each gender. You can bring a lock to secure your belongings. Another nice thing is that there is a water station that provides filtered water. Overall, the gym is very clean and you use wipes to clean your workout station after the class.
ILKB offers a great intro deal that includes gloves for you to keep. If you decide to sign up long term, it is about $140/month for a 12-month contract and about $160/month for a 7-month contract. Pricey, but I found this cost pretty on par with other places. If you sign up, you get free hand wraps, You can also pay per visit ($16-20 per class).
ILKB offers weekly “Partner perks” where you get a discount at a certain establishment each week if you prove your membership. There are also monthly special events, such as DJ nights.
The only thing that I consider as a negative about ILKB is that the music is super loud. I’m deaf on the right and have to take great care to protect my good ear. If you plan on going often, I would recommend bringing ear plugs to prevent long term hearing damage.
Overall, ILKB is a great place to begin / continue your journey to fitness!

ILoveKickboxing Roseville is a fantastic gym!! The warmup at the beginning of the hour gets your heart pumping and the sweat dripping. On your first day you are set up with a trainer that shows you how to do each move properly so that you get the most out of your workouts and avoid injury. Everyone, trainers and other members, are always supportive and give a lot of encouragement in class and on social media. They go the extra mile with things like monthly DJ Nights and charitable contributions. And, according to my fitbit, I average almost 700 calories burned in each hour of class! ILoveKickboxing Roseville is definitely worth checking out!!
