Parts Department very helpful!
I want to thank the parts department for going above and beyond. The man I spoke with understood my aggravation at having to drive almost an hour for a $5 bolt (surrounding dealerships did not stock it). He asked where I live and said he would meet me on his way home, since he was coming through. Saving me time and gas. THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE! Again, thank you!

Go in to fix a seat belt, left with damaged steering wheel
Took our car here for a seat belt that wouldn't properly latch. Diagnosed one day, fix another. The day it was fixed, when my husband went to pick it up, before he drove out of the parking lot noticed damage to our leather steering wheel. The steering wheel had no previous damage. He went right back into the service area and they said they'd look into it. After back and forth with them, they decided it wasn't their fault and we should accept that is normal wear and tear . Hyundai Corporate said we had to go through the Attorney General, and we are still waiting because Ideal Hyundai is now ignoring their letters. Attorney General is on their 2nd attempt and radio silence from Ideal. Today marks 3 months we've been dealing with this.

Save yourself and drive to another dealership. This place doesn't stand behind what they do. Fitzgerald White Flint Hyundai is worth the drive.

Beware of the oil being used -it might not meet the manufacturer's specifications
On Monday May 23, I had my new 2022 Hyundai Tucson first complimentary service performed. My owner's manual indicated that FULL synthetic 0-20W is required. After the service was performed the invoice indicated a synthetic blend oil was used. After emailing Mr. Noel Miller, service manager, that an error was made , Mr. Miller indicated it was clerical error by the Parts department. Well my passed communications with Mr. Miller was very confusing. On May 25 , I asked Mr. Miller to prove that the correct oil was used. NO REPLY
On June 12, I wrote a personal letter to Ideal's owner Mr. DE Willard indicating that his Service Department would not verify that the correct manufacturer's oil specifications were being used. NO REPLY

Question: Is Ideal's Service Department using the correct manufacturer's oil specifications and can their correct usage be verified?

Great Service Excellent Mechanics
Ideal Hyundai service came through where two other service centers failed.
Ideal had appointments available immediately and made it easy to pick a time that was good for us. Within hours they called me with a diagnosis and repair recommendation. Shortly there after they called again to say the work was complete. They arranged for us to prepay the charges which took the pressure off getting back in time to pick up our car. Overall great experience. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Poor communication
Not impressed with the service department. Very poor communication and I had to call 3 times to check on my car because they didn’t return phone calls.

Wonderful experience despite persistent issue.
Speed, cleanliness, thoroughness, explanation, and customer care were fantastic. They were unable to recreate an electronics issue I was having, but they explained options for addressing the issue which I may try when I can afford it.

Friendly, but still hasn’t fixed the issue
Friendly and attentive scheduling staff, no loaner available, but was shuttled which was nice. The problem is still occurring and I’ve had my car in there twice within the last week and a half and am getting ready to call again.
