Ghosted by a sales person
I guess if you tell a sales person you are closing on a house next month and are shopping to decide your next vehicle after you close the are not interested Business must be great. Literally had a salesperson walk away from me on the lot when I turned to walk to a car we wanted to look at and drive. Then when I went inside to try to get a brochure the guy has the stones to ask if I had any questions. Yes I do, like the one I was asking when I turned around and discovered you ditched me on the lot.

very dishonest dealership
John was our salesman. He was very dishonest with me. Said the car was about 18 grand but the numbers on paper showed over 20 grand. They also agreed to take 1950 off which they never did. Go to yelp and read real reviews. There isnt one positive review on yelp and the number one complaint is dishonesty and bait and switch.

UPDATE to Service Scheduling and Advisor Leave Much to be Desired
UPDATE- Contacted the company of the Tire/Wheel Protection Plan and explained my frustration with the Service Department of Hyundai of Wesley Chapel. I was told that they had yet to initiate a claim for the tire and that I can bring the car to any of their approved repair vendors, which I did. New tire is now on the vehicle!

As a side note I did receive a call from L.B. on Monday, 18 January, from the service department. Thinking that it may be an update on the tire, I answered. L.B. stated that he was happy to tell me that the transmission on my 2018 Santa Fe can be repaired. I DO NOT OWN A SANTA FE!, lol! Obviously the service departments records are somewhat messed up?

Service Scheduling and Advisor Leave Much to be Desired
Purchased a 2022 Palisade here October 2022 along with extended service plans and tire & wheel protection. Brought the car in on Tuesday, 1/15/22, because it had a slow leak in one of the tires from a screw. Service advisor L.B. examined the tire and stated that it must be replaced because the leak was to close to the sidewall and cannot be patched. L.B. further stated that the tire was not in stock and would be ordered and that it would be delivered by 1:30pm the next day. I explained that due to my work hours I would not be able to come back out until Friday, 01/14/22, in the afternoon. L.B. stated that this would not be a problem. On Friday, 01/14, at 10:27am I texted L.B. asking if I could stop in around 3:30-4:00 to have the new tire put on. At 2:03pm he he responded "that should be fine". I arrive at 3:40pm and L.B. says that there is no way they can get to the vehicle today, they are way to busy! WELL THANKS FOR THE TEXT INFORMING ME OF THIS! An hour and a half earlier it wasn't a problem. He asks if I am available in the mornings. I tell him I am available tomorrow morning, Saturday and will be there when the service department opens. L.B. says that is OK. Saturday morning (today) I am there and L.B. states that they will give me a call this afternoon when the car is ready. I have to be at work by 12:00 and couldn't do that. He explains that because I do not have an appointment the car cannot be looked at until there is some extra time. Why couldn't I have been told this yesterday and L.B., possibly using a little foresight and initiative, suggest that an appointment might be preferable? Three times to the dealership to get a tire repaired and it is still not fixed! The lack of concern to quickly repair a minor safety problem is concerning. I will be contacting the Vehicle Service Contract provider and requesting that I can get this repaired at a different location.

SCHEDULING DEPT.
YOU NEED TO GET SOMEONE IN SCHEDULING SERVICING THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING. YOU DON'T OVERBOOK TO THE POINT THAT IT'S GOING TO TAKE 3 HOURS TO GET AN OIL CHANGE. THAT IS THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING I HAVE HEARD. I KNOW YOU HAVE SO MANY CUSTOMERS THAT YOU DON'T CARE IF YOU LOSE A FEW BUT YOU REALLY NEED TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT, AND START BY QUITTING THE OVER BOOKING BULLSHIT.

Slow Service
Very long wait for service to answer or return a phone call.
To get a simple oil change and tire rotation, you have to get on 1 to 1.5 month waiting list. This is December 22nd, I can’t get get my oil changed until late January or early February.
So it looks like I’m going to pay for my 1st free oil change.

Poor service department!
Well let me start off by saying I am satisfied with my car but dissatisfied with the service dept. At Wesley Chapel. I made an appointment for service on Frinday 10/21/21 and upon arrival oticed that there had to be at least 30 cars 1/2 on lifts and the others waiting in line. I che ked in and was told that it would be 2 hours! And by the looks of the bay which was void on any technicians, and from my last "appointment" experience, I knew 2 hours meant 4 hours. Needless to say, I did not get my service! I was very agitated that I wasted my gas to come there 45 mins from home only to have to leave. The girls with Turquoise hair that checked me in said that 1/2 the technicians got up and quit in July! What exactly is happening at this dealership? It's all run down and looking old and smells that way too, no one working in the shop or sales floor, and over booked service appointments and no service manager in sight on a Friday?
Never going back and giving bad review on FB and google!

horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible experience, 4 times horrible
Made an appointment for 1pm on 10/2 to check shaking engine sound.
Called the dealer in the morning and asked if I can drop off the car earlier than schedule. Was told ok. So dropped the car off around 10am. asked for an oil change while have the issue checked.

Texted the service advisor (L) around noon and asked if a general checkup (brake, tire, etc.) can be done at the same time. L replied and said ok.

L texted me around 4pm and said work cannot be done. “I am going to get it finished up first ting tomorrow…” I am ok with this.

On 10/3, I texted L around 1pm asked for an update. No response until 4pm so I called. A receptionist told me that the service department was closed that there was nothing else she could do. I would call this as the first “horrible”.

On 10/4, I texted L. “What is going on?” at 7:05 am.

On 10/4, I started to call around 7:10 am since I needed the car for work. Around 7:20am, the first call went through, a receptionist (I think she was on site) transferred my call to L. Not a surprise, no one picked up. My 7:05am text to L was nerve answered.

I called again twice before 8am on 10/4, each time I was connected to an offsite receptionist. Each time I was told that the service department would call me back and a supervisor overseeing the performance of the service department would call me back. I would give two “horrible” here since as of today (10/6) no one ever called me back.

I went to the dealer around 8:30am 10/4. Talked with another service advisor (A). A checked and told me that nothing was done to the car. Nothing!!! I asked the car back immediately since I needed the car for work. I asked A if he could request a call from a supervisor to address the issues. He said yes. As of today (10/6), no calls. This will be the fourth “horrible”.

I called Hyundai customer service (800) and got a case ID (18823986) on 10/4. No response as of 10/6.

Can't even get a return call
My car was brought in due to an accident and they are supposed to be completing the mechanical side and then it's to go to New Port Richey for the bodywork, however, I have NO idea what is going on with my vehicle because you can NEVER get anyone on the phone or get a return call. Asked for a manager yesterday, was told they are too busy. So here I ask as my insurance company has already stopped paying for my rental being that it's been a month. So now what, just not go to work as well?!? Is Hyundai going to pay my car payment? Last NEW car I had less than a year and the motor blew. 5 months waiting!!!!!! I will be contacting Hyundai USA in the morning and escalating a claim

Service dept is inept and Shady.
I did not buy my car here but have used this dealership twice to service my car as they are closest to me buy a good bit. The first time my wife took in for oil change and was told needed $1800 in repairs. I said no until advisor offered a 15% discount on the bill "to help us out". Picked the car up the next day and my advisor was off and no one else knew anything about it. No discount. This wasn't incompetence, this was shadiness.
Second time wifes ABS light came on so she made an appt on 7/1. I dropped it off at 7am. Get a text at noon saying they cant find warranty info and car needs $1500 in repairs. I was stuck at work and texted back info was in the car. Called at 7a next day and was told advisor would call back, no one did. Called back at 9:30 to have an advisor be rude as hell and tell me it's my responsibility to give him the policy # and phone # before he can do anything. At 11am I called back in with info, was told advisor was busy but would get the info to him and have him call me back. They did not. Called back in today and was told my advisor was off yesterday which is why no call back...huh? Was told could take the info again and pass along and have advisor call me back...I asked to speak to manager and was told "this is a large auto group and the manager does not work in this building but you can send an email". I picked my car up today with nothing done...and they wanted to charge me for their "evaluation". This was just incompetence and nobody cares.
If you think I'm just sour grapes, check BBB, Google and Yelp and it won't take you long to see this is some Shady POS's running this deal. I shant be going back.

WORST SERVICE
Horrible service and sales team. With talking with Ron over a car and wouldn’t offer me the out of door price and once he got tired he just said $10,000 for a car that costs $6,700 with 84,000 miles on it. The place is a joke and he closed the line without even negotiating tioning the price. Honestly all the other dealers were much more understanding, gave much better offers, and none were disrespectful enough to close the line on me. Never recommend there and they always ask for a test drive to waste your time and give you an out of door price that is ridiculous. Thanks Ron.
