It’s been two weeks, nobody has contacted me. I look at my brand new car and see scratches everywhere.

I still can’t understand how this happens in your detailing shop!

At this point I would like to bring it to a professional and have them fix it and give you guys at Bay Ridge Hyundai a bill.

I’ve never had such a bad experience at any other dealership in my life.

Very nice staff! My sales person Jabari is the best!
smoothest car sales transaction i've ever had. No hidden fees, staff was very courteous. My sales person Jabari went above and beyond in getting me the best deal and explained everything to me clearly. Their mantra is Transparency, Efficiency and respect and i feel like they check all those boxes without a doubt.

Beyond disappointing
I’m exhausted just thinking about writing this review. I came in during the Presidents’ Day sale. I was unaware of the sale going on. My old lease was up and I wanted to get into something new.

They were very quick to hook me up with a salesman even tho they were very busy. With a quick overview of the current models I decided on a sonata. We sat down and started to work out pricing.

Due to the sale I was given a quote, more then I wanted to spend but I could make it work. I really did like the car so I said let’s do it, I’ll sign off and give you a deposit now. They told me the car needed to be inspected and detailed and I could pick it up Monday. BTW this was Saturday night. Deal!

My salesman came back and said there is some bad news. This car isn’t part of the sale, so I can’t give you that price… The sonatas that weren’t in stock for the next 3 months, those were on sale! Of course

Running out of time we worked out a price about 50$ a month more then what I was quoted. Fine! I put my deposit and that was that.

Monday I came in at 10am. Finished paperwork and they took the car to be inspected. Tire/rim and wear and tear insurance was about 60$ more a month then what my salesman had told me… I passed on both. I had been there for over 3 hours and they still didn’t clean the car. I had to leave or I would be late for work… what a disappointment.

Came back the following day at 10am to pick up my car. All they had to do was transfer my plates at this point. Guess what it still wasn’t cleaned. On top of that they sent a girl from the showroom in high heels to transfer my plates. 30 minutes later she still couldn’t figure it out.

After finally getting my plates transferred the Manager handed me my keys. He said “ oh you got a sonata… they’re all right” and shrugs his shoulders. Weird comment I thought. Didn’t bother to tell me anything about the car features etc. I drove off, happy to finally get my car.

As I’m driving down the street I’m trying to figure out where everything is. I look at the dash and realize they gave me a car on empty! Unreal

Contacted my salesman and he was shocked they didn’t fill the tank or clean the car… he offered to take care of it when I came back. Guess I’m going back AGAIN!

A few days later I came back got my tank filled all features explained.. waited an hour for the detail shop to take me and the another hour to “detail my car”

3 hours later they brought the car to me. First time I saw it semi clean. Looked good. Until I got closer. Clearly wasn’t cleaned very well. Then I got closer and noticed a scratch and another and another….. what is going on did they clean my car with a Brillo brush. Small scratches all over my car .. I’m devastated

They called another manager and he said we can buff this out. How can I make you happy we can’t afford a bad review…. Can I offer you an accessory! What a joke. I want my new car to look new I was disgusted … I had enough I had to get out of there!

When I got home and inspected closer my brand new car has been scratched from head to toe, I’m depressed.

Since then I can’t get a response from them. The salesman won’t return my calls. I could just show up and I probably will at some point but I figured I’d give them this good review first.

This is the 3rd Hyundai Tucson that I have purchased since 2006. This was by far the best experience. My salesman was Patrick and he was top notch. I was given a fair deal for my trade-in and Mo the finance guy took the time to explain every step very thoroughly. Ray was also there every step of the way.
