We dropped our vehicle off in perfect mechanical and structural condition for a simple, routine safety recall. While the car was in their exclusive custody, their staff physically broke the electronic driver's seat track mechanism, rendering the vehicle completely undrivable. The mechanic even explicitly admitted to us that a valet likely forced the mechanism until it snapped.
Instead of taking accountability for a $3,600 repair, Service Manager Ron Guzzi refused to help, denied responsibility, and attempted to extort us for a diagnostic fee just to get our car back.
When we stated we were calling law enforcement to document the property damage, the dealership staff retaliated. They locked all the doors, shut off the facility lights, and abandoned us stranded in a pitch-black parking lot for over 4 hours with an undrivable vehicle.
A formal property damage report has been filed with the Suffolk County Police Department (2nd Precinct), and a severe safety violation complaint has been submitted to the NYS DMV Division of Vehicle Safety against Facility Numbers 7084369 and 7033461 for Unsafe Vehicle Delivery.
This business is predatory, dishonest, and treats local consumers with complete disdain. Do not trust them with your vehicle or your safety.
