My Experience
This is a review to share my experience with Homestead Hyundai, I don't want my review to sway you from either buying or not buying a car from them but if you do decide to buy from them make sure you check your car up and down before. I purchased a new 2024 Hyundai Sonata from them on 03/23/24 the experience was fine I was satisfied with how the sale went and what they offered on my trade and everything was a friendly experience. I took the car home, I checked the car but didn't see anything at that moment since it was getting dark and car I also purchased was a darker color. I woke up the next day to look at the car my wife and I found 2 dents above where the pillars of the car were. I called and spoke with someone who said it would be taken care of and to just bring the car by. When I got there I spoke with Alain one of the sales managers who told me to bring the car back that Wednesday and that they would take care of it. They did this even though the repair was not 100% it was still acceptable and I was satisfied. I then took my vehicle to be tinted and found a streak as you see pictured on my rear driver side window, I thought this streak was from washing or maybe from the tinting process so when I tried to clean it did not go away. I then assumed since I just got the vehicle tinted maybe the film they used was defective so naturally I went back to the tint shop. The shop was skeptical that it was the film and suggested that it maybe the window but agreed to replace the film to rule this possibility out. I watched them while they replaced the film and when the old film was removed there was nothing showing on the window. They cleaned the window properly and installed the new film and we found that this streak was still present on the window even with a new film. There was obviously a defect in the window but the defect only shows when there is a tint film on the window. I reached out to the dealer because at this point this was now the 3rd issue I was having with a new vehicle so they agreed to have a technician take a look at the issue. After this was done I received a phone call from Mario who stated that there was really not much they could they checked and didn't see anything that would be causing this the problem. They mentioned that there wasn't anything they could do to have the window covered under warranty and offered to replace it for around $498.00. I explained that this was a new vehicle and that I first had the 2 dents and now this issue with the window and asked if he could speak to the managers about this issue. He did and the best he could do was give me a discount bringing the window replacement to around $360.00. First off, I understand that this isn't an issue that effects the use of my rear window but it's an annoyance I see every day. I purchased this vehicle on 03/23/24 and was told this on 04/09/24 which is barely 3 weeks of owning this vehicle. When you buy a new vehicle you expect everything to go smoothly so that you can enjoy the vehicle you do not expect to have to go back to a dealer to fix 2 dents that should not have been there and a defective window that I now have to come out of pocket for just to have a normal looking tinted window. If I was the manager I would have said "Sir you have had 2 other issues with this car, this streak on you window really shouldn’t be there and its only been 3 weeks we will take care of this and hope to earn your repeat business" but this didn't happen… even after being told it should be taken care of. I will give them credit for knocking out those 2 dents but they only went 75% of the way in making this right. On average we change out cars every 3 years and I will tell you next time I will take my business to a different Hyundai dealer based on this experience. To me it's not about the money I can come out of pocket to fix this window but it's more about the principle and knowing that this customer has had 3 different issues with a "new" vehicle.

I had call and left messages and none of the managers called me back. What can you expect ? this Dealership is not serious at all. Lack of professionalism

RUDE EMPLOYEE
I decided to write this review since I called several times to speak to ghe General Manager and he never returned my calls. We bought a TUCSON on June, Lazaro was the sales person and he was very respectful and proffessional . We don't have any complaints about him/We took the Sonata to service because of a noise and they couldn't find anything and we even bought the 4 tires. At that time, Miguel, who was also a very nice and cooperative, told us that we only had 12 days of the warranty, so, we decided to get a new car.

3 months went by and we find out we forgot to remove the SunPass, they told us it was our responsability, they weren't going to pay for anything. But , that's the least of our worries. We found out that the person who bought the car was a sales person that works there. A person by the name of HAROLD, called us and told us that he was the person who bought the car. (at that time I didn't know, he didn't say he worked there) and he told me to let him know what the SunPass will tell us and call him back. I tried to called him and I found that at that time he was an employee for Hyundai in Homestead, Florida. He didn't answered my calls, so I went to the dealer and talked to him and asked him if he can collaborated with the bill and he told me: I don't have to pay nothing because that bill came on your name not on mine. Following that I told him that we had paid for his trips from Hialeah to Homestead and he responded: ......... and to Orlando| after this disrespectful comment I had no choice but to tell him what I though of him he was a shameless guy and he left the office. I just want people to know that he can't mistreat a customer and I suggest for the Hyundai to properly train their employees . HAROLD Merry Christmas to you and your family!

SPANISH: Decidi escribir este review porque llamé varias veces al Gerente General y nunca me contestaron las llamadas. Compramos un TUCSON en junio, Lázaro era el vendedor y fue muy respetuoso y profesional. No tenemos ninguna queja sobre él/Llevamos el Sonata a servicio por un ruido y no encontraron nada e incluso compramos las 4 llantas. En ese momento Miguel, que también fué muy amable y cooperativo, nos dijo que solo teníamos 12 días de garantía, así que decidimos comprarnos un auto nuevo.

Pasaron 3 meses y nos enteramos que se nos olvidó sacar el SunPass, nos dijeron que era nuestra responsabilidad, que no iban a pagar nada. Pero esa es la menor de nuestras preocupaciones. Descubrimos que la persona que compró el auto era un vendedor que trabaja allí. Una persona de nombre HAROLD, nos llamó y nos dijo que él era la persona que compró el auto. (en ese momento no lo sabía, no dijo que trabajaba allí) y me dijo que le avisara lo que nos dijera el SunPass y le volviera a llamar. Intenté llamarlo y descubrí que en ese momento era empleado de Hyundai en Homestead, Florida. No contestó mis llamadas, así que fui al dealer y hablé con él y le pregunté si podía colaborar con la factura y me dijo: no tengo que pagar nada porque esa factura vino a tu nombre, no a mío. Seguidamente le dije que le habíamos pagado los viajes desde Hialeah a Homestead y me respondió: .........y a Orlando también | Después de este comentario irrespetuoso no me quedó más remedio que decirle lo que pensaba de él, era un tipo descarado y se fue de la oficina. Solo quiero que la gente sepa que no se puede maltratar a un cliente y sugiero que Hyundai entrene adecuadamente a sus empleados., especialmente a HAROLD. ! Very dissatisfied customer. Will never return and do NOT recommend!
Worst experience to date since purchasing my new Hyundai. Trickery at its finest! Charged for items I did not need. No return call to resolve issue. Going to Hyundai Corp in hopes of a fair and just resolution.

Bait and switch. Review your numbers carefully
Look carefully before you sign. The car was advertised at $42,790 MSRP less a dealer discount of $1k. Plus $1k with conventional financing or a low HMF rate. When financing doc was presented they changed the discount to $500 AND tacked on options of $1,470 which was already in the MSRP; a $2K difference! They are shady, sneaky and down right criminal. You have been warned!!!

Mantenimiento feliz

Great experience
I just realized its already been three years coming here. I’ve always had great service! They seem to have a friendly staff. Manny is always proactive on communication with me, which I appreciate as a busy mom who forgets to come get the oil change. Haha.
