Their "Repair" Burned Down An Entire Apartment Complex
I paid nearly $6,000 for Great American Tire to install a new engine in my son’s car. Just hours later, after parking it in the garage, the engine burst into flames. The fire quickly spread, destroying his car and his entire apartment building. My son and five other families were left homeless on that bitterly cold day in January. He literally escaped with just the clothes on his back. He lost everything in the world he owned. Unfortunately, he had let his renter’s insurance lapse, so he had no coverage. To make matters worse, the slimy insurance company Great American Tire has refuses to cover the damages because they can’t figure out exactly how the engine their client put in caught fire. And, unbelievably, Great American Tire isn’t even willing to refund the $6,000 I paid for the new engine!
