The Techs don't care about your car
Bought a new Kona Limited and noticed right away the alignment was off. Took it to Gossett service for realignment and was told it was a defective strut. The strut was backordered for a month. Picked up the car a few hours later and having only had the car for 5 days and proud of it's beauty, I found a new scratch on the driver rear door that wasn't there when I took it in, as I always scan my cars for scratches/dings before dropping off for any service. They sent me to get it buffed out at a body shop. The scratch didn't come all the way out so now I live with it. Two people obviously test drove the car. When I got in the car to leave I noticed an empty water bottle left behind in the console along with 2 dirty/muddy footprints on the passenger side floor mat. Granted, it was a somewhat rainy day but that should have prompted even more caution to use paper floor mats. My brand new 5 day old car went in with a defective strut and came back with no immediate fix, trash left inside, a muddy passenger floormat, and a noticeable scratch on rear door. It took me more time to recover from their mistakes than it took to get the car there. I won't use their service department again after the strut fix-just don't trust them.

Recall not done as advised
Took car in to have system update done on the car and when we picked it up, was told another recall was performed on the headlamps....they eventually stopped working and called the dealer and was told, if we brought it back in, they would charge a service fee, even if car was still under warranty. Ended up taking to another Hyundai dealer, only to find out Gossett never performed the recall as stated on the paperwork they supplied us. Recall done and headlamps now working again and no charge.

Very bad service
We spoke to someone that gave us a date to drop the car off for recalls on 5-31-23 we have not received the first call. We have called and left messages and still have not received a call back I would definitely not recommend taking anything to Gossett covington pike

What's the Point? (SERVICE)
I don't even know why the service area bothers with scheduling online appointments. My husband scheduled an appointment and took off from work. He arrives and they were like, "Oh you must have scheduled online." They almost seemed surprised by it which wasn't encouraging. They then proceeded to tell us it would be a few days before they had time to work on the vehicle. Not everyone has a second vehicle or people who can help them. I had to call then multiple days to get the run around always with an excuse. Here is what is ridiculous. Why would you have several appointment times listed if you are so backed up that the vehicle won't be worked on for days. You turn off the appointment scheduler and make people call to see if you can be bothered or stop taking customers or actually hire enough staff that several cars get worked on in a day. It is going to be hard for customers to pay for service when they lose their jobs because they have no way to work.

Oil change
I made an appointment for a Saturday @11am & arrived 15 minutes early and was told it's a 3 & 1/2 hour wait. When it was confirmed I made the appointment they told me I shouldn't have been able to make the appointment for Saturday. I didn't get the guy's name who checked me in but he got the service manager mike & he was zero help as well.

Service not up to par
Took car in for oil change and wheel rotation. The driver side wheel locks were loose and could be turned with hand. Fortunately I discovered it and tighten myself. There was also a dent in the fender next to gas door. Something red hit the car. There was no dent before I took car to be serviced. Just filled up with gas be fore I took car in. No dent then.
Manager denied any wrong doing. ( reason for rating)
