Cliente VerificadoThank you for your review and for allowing us to assist you with your vehicle. The Toyota Camry came in for routine maintenance & to check out a high pitched noise. Checked the vehicle over and ran our diagnostic and found that the alternator was making the noise. We quoted the alternator replacement and was given permission to proceed with the repair and when completed the vehicle was picked up and the Ford Explorer Sport Trac was left with us. The routine maintenance was done and the complaint was regarding the rear shocks. We checked the vehicle over and found that the front and rear shocks were worn. They were leaking from around the sleeve and had the oil running down the tubes of the old shocks. The shocks had a lot of play in them and needed to be replaced. We quoted the job to replace front & rear shocks and were given the ok to replace them. The complaint is that they can see the rear shocks from looking at the rear of the vehicle. The way the Ford Explorer Sport Trac suspension is set up is that the rear shocks are visible when looking at the rear where as your typical newer pick up truck is not visible. We do apologize for any miscomunication and/or misunderstanding with that part of it. We are not trying to decieve anyone or perform any repairs that are not needed and just need to explain the set up/layout better and ask more questions when regarding her issue. We took it as a shock issue which did need to be addressed, where as she was concerened with the visual aspect. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us and we will be more than happy to try to explain more if possible.
