I can’t help but feel like there is some sort of shady pricing scheme going on with the service of this dealership. They charge highly inflated service fees, for work that should be covered under warranty or by now a class action suit. From rats eating the insulation around the electrical wires, from my car being parked in my driveway, in the middle of a city, to the differential going out, twice! The cost of ownership for a Genesis is much higher than one is lead to believe. Avoid this dealership at all costs (trust me it will cost you), and avoid this brand. They are not even as good of cars as Hyandai.

Terrible experience. Top Prices for service
I recently had a terrible experience at Genesis of Kirkland that I feel compelled to share. I simply wanted to get an oil change for my GV80, but the ordeal turned into a nightmare. First, I had to wait a ridiculous seven weeks just to get an appointment. When I finally booked it, I was told the service would take 60-90 minutes, and I agreed to wait there. However, when I arrived, it was clear they had scheduled too many people at the same time. Despite initially telling me it would be 90 minutes, they quickly changed the estimate to 2.5 to 3 hours. They offered a complimentary car wash but strongly discouraged it because it would add another 60-90 minutes, so I declined. After waiting 3.5 hours for just an oil change, I was hit with an outrageous bill. They charged a hefty shop fee on top of an already overpriced service, and then added another surcharge for using a credit card. The total came out to nearly $400 for an oil change, and this was after I declined all additional services. No discount was offered despite the excessive delays.

To make matters worse, the building was in terrible condition—nothing like what you'd expect from a luxury brand. The ceiling had water and mold stains, there were holes in it, and the overall facility was old and poorly maintained. They tried to sell me on their new store being better once it's completed, but based on this experience, I will never return. Genesis of Kirkland, you should be ashamed of this level of service. If you value your time, money, and experience, I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Horrible Service
If I could give negative stars I would. I called a month in advance to make an appointment for our GV80. I requested a loaner and asked them to update the navigation system. I explained how awful our previous service was at their Everett location. How the car had to go back twice because the navigation update didn't work when they sent us away to do it ourselves. I was assured our experience would be better this time. Nope. They didn't have a loaner, so my husband missed half a day of work, they didn't rotate the tires, didn't vacuum or clean the vehicle. AND guess what, they didn't update the navigation system. Instead told my husband to do it himself. When I called to follow up and express my frustrations (again) I was offered excuses, told "I'll look into it and call you back later today". AND guess what, he never called back. This company doesn't care about their customers at all. We have now had three separate HORRIBLE service appointments that have cost us time and money. We purchased the vehicle in Los Angeles from a dealership that was impeccable. We moved to Bellevue and are now stuck with the decision of selling a vehicle we really enjoy because we are hostage to your terrible service/customer service since you're the only dealership in WA. You've cornered the market on ruining the brand. Your dealership should send your staff to Mercedes, Porsche, and Cadillac of Bellevue for training. They are ill-equipped to be handling the "luxury brand" you aspire to become.

Salesman Dillon Hewitt
We started our ev purchase journey late January 2024. We have looked at 10 EV options. We discovered the Genesis dealer at Kirkland late February 2024. We were greeted by Dillon Hewitt, which was a wonderful experience. Dillon was not only very knowledgeable about the Genesis GV60, he took his time with us and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. We met with Dillon three times before pulling the trigger. Truthfully, were we sold after the first meeting.

I would highly recommend Dillon Hewitt if you are considering Genesis as your EV solution.

Confused and Disappointed!!!
Reached out to purchase a new 2023 G70 and was told i was not able to purchase the vehicle because I lived 5 hours away! WOW - i purchased several cars in my lifetime - i consider myself an A+ buyer - and was ready to drive the car off the lot where a salesman was going to get a commission/ Dealer a car sold. NOPE - They didn't run credit - run numbers - nothing. I was told they only sell to local people. This is the closest Genesis Dealer to my house. Is this normal? I guess I will buy my vehicle from another dealer. The salesman was quick to the online response but then ghosted once I was not local. Just got an email from the Sales Manager - Carlton Scott - saying "I do Apologize for any inconvenience, we want to make sure that we have inventory for our local customers" WOW

Post Sales Service Is CRAP
I am very unhappy with my genesis G70 purchase from this dealership. The sales guy was very irresponsive and ignored my messages. I bought G70 three weeks ago. I also purchased the Gap Insurance from the dealership. Obviously they overpriced the insurance. When I checked with my insurer, the same insurance is $900 cheaper than dealership. I realized I overpaid the next day. I called to the sales rep Tony the next day. He promised me to send me the GAP insurance cancellation form three weeks ago. I never received any emails nor response from him. I texted him three times since then. He just ignored my messages. I tried to call the sales department and another sales rep answered my call. She also promised me to send me the insurance cancellation from but I still haven't received anything. It is so obvious that they made it so difficult for the customer to cancel the overpriced insurance. I do not recommend doing any business with them. The post sales service is terrible.

Overall really good.
I’m happy to purchase my Genesis at Genesis of Kirkland. One thing, if they can improve the waiting area, it would be perfect. Other than that, all staffs were really helpful and kind.

Great brand and love the cars
Love the Genesis brand and what they’re doing with their cars off late. I just hope they start making their own dealerships, having to share it with Hyundai makes it a subpar experience for a car this price.

Amazing people to work with!
I am from California and Genesis of Kirkland had a very specific model on their lot that I wanted. I called up and spoke to Gary who was very helpful. They helped with shipping the car to my house in California. I bought it sight unseen and they were a pleasure to work with. Car was in my possession within 5 days of calling.

Not fit to sell a luxury brand
Five separate contacts with this dealership over 2 years, none satisfactory. Two attempts to buy my G-80 there found wholly unmotivated sales staff. Travelled 25 miles farther north to purchase. Three attempts in 2 years to schedule subsequent service all failed. No interest in providing Genesis valet service; just kept passing the buck to a message center; not one return phone call.

Purchased the new GV80
We purchased our new GV80 using the Costco program and it was the closest dealership to Vancouver, WA. We had driven a model in Vancouver so my wife knew this was the vehicle she wanted. We saw a beautiful GV80 on there lot and then made the purchase online with Tyler. He delivered it to our home the very next day. He then proceeded to introduce the vehicle to my wife and we never felt rushed. He must have spent an additional 2 hours before leaving back for Kirkland. Great service.

Genesis is supposed to be a premium car. It absolutely is. If you try to buy from this dealer, expect to be treated poorly. No better than if you are buying a cheap used car
