We have a 2019 Genesis 80. We received a factory recall, and have attempted to have it serviced twice. We scheduled in mid-July and they cancelled but were rescheduled again Saturday August 21st. They were to come pick up the car and return it when finished. We called this morning, Friday (8/20) and informed they couldn’t do it. They never bothered to call us that they canceled our service call. We do know they have had staffing issues due to COVID-19.
The receptionist needs to be trained or find another job, she is very rude and has limited customer service skills.
The service manager is frustrated and apparently has limit staff, the GM won’t return calls.
Our Genesis is a nice car, the dealership in general is poor beyond their products.
We have had issues prior to this and did have the GM involved where he was to provide follow, never heard back but was able to fix the issue via the Genesis forum.
