Major overcharge for labor , RIP OFF
We brought our Jeep liberty in to have the window regulator assembly changed out. My window would not roll up and my husband had already figured out what the problem was. We told them exactly what the problem was, but they still said they had to run their diagnostic test. Dropped our car off at 8:30 in the morning, did not receive a phone call back until 11 AM the following morning. We were told that they "finally had a chance to run the diagnostic test" and yes, we need a new window regulator, (just like my husband had told them. Anyhow, they quoted us $800 to have this job done! My husband, who is a veteran and on hospice, did quite a bit of research, and found out the part we needed was only $112. The markup they wanted to charge for this job, which would take less than an hour labor, was simply outrageous! We have always liked to support small and local businesses, but this one gets an F in my book! Stay clear away from this place, unless you want to be completely ripped off. As I am writing this review, we have a certified mechanic who will be doing this job for the cost of the part, and $100 labor. Basically the job will be done for under $225 dollars. Its unfortunate that this business gets away with ripping people off. Stay far away, there's plenty of other mechanics out there that are reputable and honest.
