Service Dept Understaffed
I recently brought my car in for the initial 7500 service where I was initially told it would be about a month out but they were able to squeeze me in a week later which was good. I dropped my car off the night before and completed the drop off form for my car to be complete by 2PM (since there was a specific line item to note) which I thought was reasonable. However, I called at 1130 to check and was told all service advisors were busy and to call back in 15min which I did about 40mins later and was put into voicemail for the service advisor handling my car. After an hour with no call back I called back around 130 (remember ask for my car back at 2PM) and was told again everyone was busy and to call back so I got upset and the woman followed up while I was on the phone and told me was not done and they would call me back when completed. As you can see there are a lot of negative reviews for service where there is no response from First Hyundai which shows they really don't care about their reputation and why bother asking people what time they want their car back which they make absolutely no effort to meet. I am going to contact Hyundai Corporate to make them aware of this dealerships' poor service and maybe they will be told to hire more help. I think I am going to get rid of my Hyundai and go back to Toyota where service is excellent.
