I read your review and would like to respond with some clarity.  Yes, you came in for a NYS Inspection.  The technician performed a complete vehicle 'inspection'.  It is our business to inform the vehicle's owner, the condition of the vehicle.  An oil/filter change was not recommended but a tire rotation was.  You recently had an oil change about 400 miles ago.  See, your tires are not wearing evenly and are fairly new. We recommend this when necessary since it is hard to notice when not in the air on a lift. Tires will last when cared for properly.  Last year when you brought your Chevy (Aug) in for inspection, it was overdue for an oil change. Yes, we recommended that.

I chose to respond to this since I am the woman who works with these five men. I'm a bit taken back by the '... because I'm a female'. I'm sorry that you feel this way. But you are very wrong. I work with five gentlemen. Most of our customers (male or female) appreciate our recommendations. We are the so-called doctor for your vehicle. Don't they make recommendations? 

Everyone who comes through our doors is treated with respect. Since changing hands last year nothing has changed with the way business is handled. Some people don't like change and have been judgemental because if it. That is sad. Too bad instead of one star and a scathing review, you didn't speak to the owner and tell him how you felt. Possibly together you could have both had a better undertanding of how you felt and how we might handle situations in the future. We wish you well with your new garage.
