Sold Under false pretenses
Last year I purchased a 2016 Elantra which is known for it’s engine failure. Before purchasing the vehicle, I inquired about the engine knowing it has this issue and Mike assured me that not only did he replace the engine, he also replaced the transmission. I brought it in a week after buying it because it was already giving me problems and no one in the service department knew why (Yeah, right) I have repeatedly brought my car in for them to repair the problem. So now I am stuck with a vehicle with a faulty engine that loses power even if I’m going 55 mph. EXTREME safety hazard and Hyundai opted not to fix my engine even though it was doing exactly what it was recalled for. I can’t even drive my children to school (which is a mile away) without the engine cutting off power. They don’t care about their customers, quality of their product or anyone’s safety. Safe to say they will never get my business and I will be pursuing this with a lawyer.
