I recently had a very disappointing experience with Elgin Hyundai. After submitting a credit application, I was approved for a vehicle and was assured that it would be held for me. However, I waited two weeks to pick it up, only to find out upon my inquiry that the car had been sold wholesale without any prior notice.
There was no communication from the dealership regarding this change, and I was left in the dark without updates. Even more concerning was that they still had my personal information but did not make any effort to rectify the situation or offer alternatives. Instead, they just sent me a link to other cars that were outside my desired range and without any negotiation on pricing or discounts. I did not receive a call from a manager or any attempt to resolve the issue, which felt incredibly unprofessional.
Overall, my experience was incredibly frustrating, and I cannot recommend Elgin Hyundai to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. Save your time and money!
