Disappointed
I went in to have my valve gaskets replaced. They gave me a quote of $505 and change. I had a $200 credit so that should have been $305. After the service was done, I went to pick up my vehicle and the price was $413.46. The office manager said that there was another gasket they had to replace. The reason Desert Car Care has done all the work on my 2002 4Runner is because I trusted them. This is the type of thing that those shady automotive repair shops do. They quote you one price and it’s over $100 more. In the past, DCC would have eaten the extra cost and honor the quote. I really hope that they are not becoming one of those shops. Will I take my car there again? Probably. But I might start looking elsewhere.
