At the time I purchased my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I also purchased the Freedom Warranty. Well 5 months after purchase, I took it to a shop to start a claim because it was making a loud noise. The warranty company inspected the Jeep and found that the drive shaft was bad, as well as, the transfer case motor. Their inspection report stated that the drive shaft was a long term pre-existing condition and would not be covered. Not to mention the transfer case motor is a non covered part. This dealer sold me a Jeep Grand Cherokee that had a faulty drive shaft at the time of sale. When contacting the dealer and speaking with Brian Jones, they refuse to take any responsibility for the issue and only want to blame the customer. I am now out an additional nearly $2000 for repairs I was not planning on paying. Did I mention, I have only had the vehicle for 5 months?! I was able to cancel the warranty for a prorated refund also but that was just as big of a hassle that you have to go through the dealership for. If you are looking for a safe, reliable vehicle for your family then this is NOT the place. This dealership is deceitful and the warranty they upsell to you is useless. I have lived in the area my whole life and have never had an experience as terrible as this when purchasing a car whether from a dealer or private seller. Go elsewhere, I promise you won't regret it!!
