Honest shop and no upsell

My husband took my car to the dealership for service. In addition to the 40,000 mile service, they recommended a new battery, brake replacement, and new tires. This didn’t seem right, so his next stop was Carlton. They checked everything out and said there’s plenty of life yet in the brakes and tires but that they do recommend a new battery soon. Next time we’ll go to Carlton and skip the dealership that tried to sell us services that weren’t necessary.
