Budd & Co robbed me

This shop is corrupt & disingenuous, and its management is entirely heartless. They happily took $16,000 from me to replace what they said was a faulty engine in my van when it broke down on a my honeymoon in the NW. During this time, I was stranded for 3 weeks, 3000 miles away from home, while they worked on the van, and when it was "repaired" and they released it to us, they provided no warranty for the new engine or documentation of sourcing the engine from the dealer, and no discharge paperwork such as braking procedures, odometer disclosure. They knew we were driving the 3000 miles home and cleared us for travel. THREE days later, the engine blew because, according to the Ford dealership where we had it towed, oil had begun mixing in with airflow, causing the turbo to leak, and that the EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) was blown due to excessive pressure. ALL of these issues were noted yet ignored in the original diagnostic report from Budd & Co. We had no choice but to scrap the vehicle for $300. We are out $16k in repairs, as well as the costs of having missed weeks of work and the out-of-pocket expenses we incurred as a result. The shop refused to take an ounce of responsibility for their actions, claiming that they did nothing wrong, and when I filed a complaint with the WA bar association with evidence of all the errors made along the way in this process, Budd refused to make a comment like the cowards they are. Do NOT give this shop your time or money, as they have zero integrity. I am disgusted.
