At the end of September, my wife and I traveled to Bar Harbor for a two week vacation.Our first day there, the hot engine warning lit up on the dash of my Prius. I was advised by the people at our rental to take my car to Bob's auto repair. I pulled into Bob's and he immediately began diagnosing my problem. He advised me every step of the way, and determined the problem to be a failing water pump. He ordered the part and installed it the next day. Bob was incredibly kind and knowledgeable and shared stories about his life in Maine. It was clear that he is about helping people. He helps people like my wife and I with our car problems, and he provides a good livelihood for the many people he employs. He also serves his community in various advisory roles. I've always found Mainers to be the best people, and Bob Davis is an excellent example.
