Good Friday Breakdown
I have to say that Carlus was extremely helpful. We had the fuel pump go out on I-10 EB just before the last exit (Louisiana Av) of Lafayette, LA. AAA towed us to the closest shop at 4 AM. 7:30 Opening time came and went, figured out that Good Friday a lot of businesses are closed.
Finally called Aymond Automotive and Carlus answered the phone and explained that he was actually closed and just there until 10 AM waiting on a parts delivery and a customer pickup.
He said he could come and check it for us and in 5 minutes he was there with a fuel pressure gage and confirmed our suspicion, fuel pump died.
2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 OEM pump, never changed. He said tow it to the shop if we can get it there before 10. We got there at 9:15.
Carlus changed the pump and filter and had us ready to go a little after 10.
Shout out for this Marine Corps veteran for helping my family and I to get back on the road again and on our way to Orlando, FL.
We got back home Easter morning in time for Easter morning services.

My A/C compressor had gone out. I live in Texas and I got two quotes to fix it there and they were both over $4,000.
Carlus fixed my baby for so very much less than that and I am so grateful for how he got me in and taken care of so quickly! Stand up guys. They’ll take care of you. Veteran owned business.

I had my transmission replaced with an oem replacement transmission. I had my truck back within a month
I had my truck back within a month compared to a dealership taking a month just to diagnose it, so for getting a oem replacement transmission for my truck and installed all in one month is very good, I didn’t have much shops want to look at my transmission because I have a newer small truck with a cvt transmission, so I’m very glad to have came across this place. Theh have great service, great communication, and everything was fine at a timely manner, highly recommend this place! 11/2/24
