Worst visit ever to a mechanic
I had been a regular customer. Brought truck in for a 120,000 mi SERVICE, not an inspection. They told me I had a lot of suspension issues, which I told them to fix at a cost of $1820. They told me that they would need truck another day, with no indication that it would be more than that. When I called the next day to see when truck would be ready, the owner told me that he didn't know, it was at alignment shop, it would be ready when it was ready, AND HE DIDN'T CARE that I was upset about losing the truck for another day. Worst attitude I have ever seen. Turned out the truck was ready that day, that was good. Then when I paid the bill, I noticed they had not charged me for oil. I asked about that and they said they hadn't changed the oil because I hadn't asked for that. Remember, I took the truck in for a regular SERVICING, and when does a servicing not include an oil change? They said I only asked for an inspection. They then asked me if there was a sticker on the truck indicating my last oil change. The answer is there was, it was THEIR sticker, but nobody bothered to look there or in their computer. So know after losing the truck two days and paying $1820, I still have to go to Jiffy Lube to get the job done that I had brought the truck in for. There was a long discussion with the owner, his wife, and the mechanic who wanted to blame the whole problem on me not giving them adequate information. They had no sense that there was any problem on their part and no remorse whatsoever. They are a bunch of jerks and I will never go back.

In our response to George's low review - As far as being a regular customer - this was his 2nd visit to us in a year.  We did do the 12,000 mile service (which did not consist of much)  While doing the inspection, we did notice the truck needed some front end suspension repairs which we could start on and explained to him that after we were done, we would need to take it to the alignment shop.  When he called the next day I explained to him it was at the alignment shop and I would call him when it was done.  I called him as soon as we got it back to our shop, left him a message.  When he came to get the truck and was about to leave, he asked if we had changed the oil --- no, we did not because it was not requested.  He thought it should have been part of the servoce,  but it was not.  He assumed since we changed it 5000 miles ago - we should know that it needed changed.  (In our defense - there was no way of us knowing how many times he might have had his oil changed within that year).  I am very sorry George had a bad experience.
