Ray has been in Vista, CA all his life. He started working for his dad in 1968 when the shop opened. In the 80s they offered computer classes to teach other shops engine computer diagnostics systems and ABS brake systems. In 1997 Ray took over for his Dad. Now he is training his son in the family business.

Great experience with AC fix
Had some AC problems. Got as far as I could on my own and took it in. B&C got it in the day I called and had it fixed the next day for cheaper than originally quoted. Great experience and will definitely be back.

My experience with B&C Auto Repair was excellent!
Ray was very knowledgeable about my 2017 Ford Escape. He drove my car and immediately knew what the problem was.
He immediately ordered the parts. I had an appointment 2 days later. I brought car in the am and several hours later it was done. The Ford dealer told me I needed new axles and had an oil leak. The dealer gave me an estimated bill of 3500-4100! I was charged 993.00. B& C replaced Eng Trans Mount and Anti-Roll.
I feel this company is so knowledgeable and honest . I will only go to B&C Auto Repair. I know that the dealers always charge more but they did not even diagnose the problem correctly. They also said the car would be in service for at least two days. B&C diagnosed he problem and only kept the car a few hours and only charged me 993. Why would u go anywhere else!

Honest, down to earth business
I stopped by B&C today because my brakes were squeaking so I assumed they were old and needed replacement. They could’ve used my ignorance and up-charged me for a full replacement, but instead they gave me a call and explained why they were squeaking and reccomended that I didn’t replace. Sadly, mechanics that’re transparent and honest like that are hard to find nowadays. I’ve been here almost a handful of times in the past year and I have nothing but great things to say about B&C. If I need something done, I will only go to Mr. Ray or Mr. Cory. Unmatched customer service.

Difficult problem solved by B&C
A shorted alternator created a combination of issues that Ray was able to diagnose to a computer module damaged by the short. It took over a week to track down the hard to find component and have it shipped from the east coast. I truly appreciate the time and effort to get our vehicle back on the road. We wouldn't consider bringing our car to anyplace other than B&C. Thanks again Ray!

Two Thumbs Up
Great customer service with Ray and Cory. I was referred to this shop by another shop when I needed my power steering repaired on my GMC Diesel.
B&C had the parts on hand and provided a quick turnaround for getting my truck done.
I recently bought a 5th and asked about upgrading my transmission cooler. No problem, they did it while it was there for the power steering repair.
I will be back for service when needed and will confidently refer B&C to others.

If there is a delay in getting your part, they will let you know. They don’t leave you hanging. If you call or text with a question, your text is answered asap.
