Far Too Long Service Times With No Communication
I called in to make an appointment and was told the appointment time would be noon. I arrive early, about 11:30, and asked if it was okay, I was told yes. Two hours later my vehicle is done, and it would have been longer had I not asked the service person to decline a car wash so I could get out of there as fast as possible (the service person I originally spoke with was on a lunch break at the time so I spoke with someone else). The entire reason why I came to Saint Charles Hyundai, which I fully explained to both the person who made the reservation for the oil change and in cabin air filter over the phone, was because the former Hyundai dealership I went to took way too long for oil changes, around 100 minutes. This was 120 minutes at your location. I have never wanted to leave a service center as quickly as I did. Yes the inside facilities were nicer than many other service centers but no one wants to wait two hours for an oil change and an in cabin air filter. Why would I want to come back here for regular maintenance if it's going to take this long, with an appointment? This wasn't horrible service, there was no service, no updates, no reason or call or information to the delay. If showing up early caused this then it seemed like I would have waited 90 minutes instead of 120 minutes, still not something I want to do. So please, I ask you, have faster service or tell your customers up front this will take a very long time, because when I asked about the timing for service two hours wasn't mentioned. I also made it very clear to Mister Bob that the prior Hyundai dealership never went over any charts/status of my vehicle in regards to the multi-point inspection, and this didn't happen at Saint Charles Hyundai either when I asked for it.

Had an ongoing problem with tail light directional signal burning out. Had to order parts for the repair and provided me with a car at no charge for 3 days. Always a pleasure to deal with Mr Dean.

You normally check wiper blades. You did not this time . It was raining that night and my passenger side was coming off. I know it’s not your fault I have just come to rely on your attention to details. I will have to have Dobbs replace them for me as you are not located close enough for a drop by visit.

1st of many visits
This was my first visit after buying my car from the St Charles Hyundai dealership. I already had known they have a great reputation of treating everyone equally and not trying to act as if some women don’t know about cars. This service visit was great and they were friendly and walked me through the report and work without making me feel dumb. I love the staff there and they set themselves apart from the other dealerships in the area.
