At the last minute our car was making a funny noise. Called Starks right away. I just asked them if
they had time to listen to it. Next thing I know they knew what was going on. And parts were being ordered. They dug into it even further. And found the real problem. They called us and told us about it. First before they ordered any parts or did anything with the car. They have always done right by us. We always take our cars there. It's nice to have a trusting mechanic.

I left a less-than-stellar review last week after having a small miscommunication with Terry about th
e work that I wanted done. The short story of the miscommunication is that on the nighttime key-drop form I requested a couple of extra services (oil change, etc) in addition to the battery issue I described when I initially scheduled the appointment a week prior. These additional requests weren't noticed, so only the battery work was completed. Terry called me literally within minutes of my review being submitted, apologized for the miscommunication, and explained how he happened to have missed my requests on the key-drop form. He asked what he could do to make things right, and he was able to get me back in at my earliest availability to finish up the other services.
In retrospect, the miscommunication was equally on my end, and I should have noticed the discrepancy as well. I regret not calling him to discuss the issue (instead of leaving a review), as I'm sure he would have been equally accommodating to make things right. Terry is a trustworthy, stand-up guy and I'm happy to have him providing his services in the neighborhood.
