I can’t recommend Bob Workman’s enough. I brought in my 2006 Mini Cooper after a battery
swap left me with a dreaded P1656 "EWS Wrong Code" (immobilizer sync issue) that had the car completely immobilized.
Joey and Jordan were absolute pros. They knew exactly how to handle the DME-EWS resync and got the computer communication sorted quickly. While it was there, they also handled a CV axle replacement and a much-needed transmission fluid drain and fill.
The car is now running like butter. It’s hard to find a shop in Vista that is this knowledgeable with Mini electrical quirks and honest with their mechanical work.
