My wife and I are thrilled with our brand new 2024 Tucson AWD Hybrid SEL that we recently leased from
Hyundai at Hickory Hollow! The entire experience…our initial meeting, discussing our needs & budget, test driving the car, negotiating a deal (they saved us $1000’s over another Hyundai dealer’s offer), completing the financial paperwork, turning over our expiring leased car, and receiving help getting familiar with the new car, was our best experience EVER for buying or leasing a car!!! Joseph, our salesman, even had a huge red bow on the car when we arrived!!! Everyone we dealt with throughout the process …Joseph the car salesman, Tim the general manager and Joe the finance guy, were all wonderful to work with and always had our best interests in mind! I was on a 10 hour road trip with the family and 4 hours out of town the rear seat failed and fell ba
ck. Nothing we could do would get the seat to sit up right so for a couple of days my kids were squished together in the driver's side and middle seat. Road trips without space suck let me tell you.
I work right next to the Honda Dealership in Nashville. I don't like them for a variety of reasons, but let's add this one on. I dropped in because it's a fairly high "this has got to be fixed" event and I was willing to pay the premium dealer cost for the convenience of just dropping off the seat next to my work. But no. They couldn't do it. Had to leave the entire car because otherwise they couldn't test the locking mech. Er, yeah, they could... I did while on vacation using a screwdriver and holding it down with my foot. But no, had to leave the whole car for a removable rear passenger seat.
Called Alva's, told them what was up, dropped the seat off, got a call a couple of hours later that it was less to replace it than it was to work on it due to the mech inside being broke, and got a used, but in better shape than my current, replacement seat for what the service call at the dealer would have been.
After leaving New York, my son and his college buddies broke down in Nashville. They had no idea wher
e to take our van and they stumbled across Simpson's Auto. What a find, Jim took care of them like they were his own kids. He got a new driveshaft put on it and had it ready to go when they came back through from Florida. I can't thank him and everyone who worked on our van enough, he even gave us a few tips on some work that should be done when they got back to NY. They're the Best.
