Great ride.

Excellent car.for highways and very comfortable. 3 years and no issues at all. Love to drive this car with sound on bose's speakers cranked up.

Love my CX5!

Review of Mazda CX5

I have had this car for 3 years and enjoy it very much. I have had no problems with it and take it in for regular maintenance. This is the first SUV that I have had and will probably get another one next year.

Solid

Great gas mileage. Smooth in changing gears. 2.0L doesn't feel like it lags, gets enough zoom zoom. Comfortable. Stylish exterior, sleek interior. Simple and reliable car.

great car, great gas mileage, is everything they say about it. I didn't give it 5 stars because the tires wore out at 25000 and the rear brakes at 15000 other wise gret car for the money

I love my Mazda CX-5

I have had only owned a few vechicles in my life. I needed a new car and went to test drive about a dozen cars. I did not want to deal w/ dealers and there financing speeches. I just wanted to test drive different cars that fit my needs. I wanted good gas Mileage. A vehicle I could put my bike in, sunroof, and safe as I drive the 91 and 710 freeway everyday. I owned a Toyota for 17 years and a ford 150 truck for 13 years. I never thought about a Mazda. After test driving 12 + small suz's I loved the Mazda. After talking to my mechanic he said it was a great brand with affordable maintenance. I think I made a great choice and love my Mazda CX-5

Family car

Perfect family car. Absolutely love the size, the pleasure it is to drive, and the safety reviews! Somewhat disappointed as I'm a fairly sedate driver and my car is already making noises with only 20,000 miles on it. Also some engine revving when braking that makes me quite nervous-but the dealership assured me it's okay.

My 2014 Mazda Cx 5 is the vehicle I never knew I needed until I owned it

My husband wanted to get a cross over/SUV style vehicle, but I was against it because I don't like the look of most cross overs/SUVs.I didn't think I needed all of the bells and whistles and I didn't really think I needed the extra space. He talked me into it anyway, and within a month, I was in love with the rear back up camera, the blind spot indicators and all of the bells and whistles I didn't think I needed. Driving my husband's 2005 vehicle feels like a car from the dark ages now, but the Mazda was the most economical vehicle we could have chosen in the class, as well as the most attractive. I'm really happy with this car and have been in it now for 1 1/2 years. We bought the included maintenance (total advantage or something) when we got the car and never have to pay for oil changes, tire rotation or routine maintenance. It's really convenient and easy and they always wash my car when they're done. Great choice.

Like the CX-5 a lot, BUT

Got a 2014 and Grand Touring. Like everything, except: 1) Radio/nav has spotty BT and USB connection problems. Asked for TSB 09-008/15 fix. The TomTom nav system is clumsier than my phone, so I just use that, but most car nav systems aren't that good. 2) Heater/AC control. Works except layout is clumsy and readouts look like they're from a 15 y/o Chevy. 3) Seats - For long drives they could use more padding. Also the driver's seat seems a little offset since I'm always siding to the left a little when driving. 4) Seat heaters - On HIGH they are barely noticeable. Below that, useless.
