This is a great SUV. It never have given me any issues. I wish this model was not discontinued. I have driven this SUV to many places to Florida and Maryland with no issues. It is very reliable and it has a big luggage space for travel.

wish they still made them. Many family members have purchased other models of Hyundai. We have been more than satisfied. The service department in Wilmington N.C. is excellent. Family members are also pleased with N.Y. service. There are 5 other Hyundai customers besides me.

My 2011 Hyundai Veracruz!!?

I fell in love ? with my 2002 Hyundai XG350. Then I fell in love with my 2011 Hyundai Veracruz. Then I traded in my wife’s 2006 Santa Fe for a Pre-Owned 2013 Santa Fe Sport ?. And guest what? I have fallen in love ? with as well. Both are great city and highway driving.

Best car I ever had.

Have had car since new and love it. After all this time I am still finding new buttons to push. Have 57K miles on it and have had dealer fix various things that have broken or I have broken and it's still running good. I will keep it until warren tee expires then get a new one if I am still able to drive, (I am 84 years old now).

Bought this car used. Would buy a new one tomorrow if they still produced it. Worked thru this vehicle and was impressed by the engineering, quality of materials used, and safety features. The ride and comfort are superior to other SUV’s I have owned in the pass. Wish they would start production of this car again

Best Vehicle Rver Owned

A quality product. Should bring this model back. Would buy another one. With over 147,000 miles this vehicle performs as it was brand new. Proper maintenance is the key. Would recommend a Hyundai vehicle to anyone who is interested in buying a quality product that is well worth the money.

Why did you stop making VeraCruz

This is my second Veracruz, the first was great a bit basic. The second one, was the LX model, more features, leather interiors, sunroof, etc. I love my Veracruz, except for the recall, everything has been great. Why has Hyundai stop making the Veracruz, Santa Fe doesn't even come close to the Veracruz. Also I have the Tucson, 2012, why did was the motor changed to 4 instead of 6, Tucson is too heavy for a 4, she's got no power.

Great vehicle

I bought this car used and I love it. I'll have it until the wheels fall off it, that's how much I love it. It drives great! It rides great! We love the 3rd row of seats that can be put down for more trunk space.

Love our Veracruz Style,comfort and safety. Lots of room for passengers and packages. Wish they still made it. Feel very safe in it and third seat is roomy for my passengers It is a 2011 model and still going strong

Great service deparmtment

I love my Vercruz, things I will look for next time is a sunroof, Passenger door to have key locks. I wish that the issue with the oil gasket and the alternator issue was never an issue.. I will look for my next car to be a Vera Cruz but hope all the issues are resolved.

Great vehicle

I love the way it handles and the cargo capacity. It is great for transporting my great grandson to school.Also plenty of room for the dogs. The heated seats are wonderful on really cold winter days .

Great car

Hyundai should bring back the Vera Cruz. It’s larger than the Santa Fe. Able to easily carry things in the cargo area. I’d like the newer convenience features in a new car. Standard remote start, hands free trunk release, Bluetooth, keyless ignition.

Lots of breaks

I wrote a review just a month ago when my window regular broke, not covered under warranty. Since then I have also replace the front passenger inside door handle, again not a warranty covered item. When the car was only a few years old I had to replace the front drivers side door handle, covered. I have to say that some of the issues I have had with the Veracruz make me believe it is not the best made vehicle. I had axel related problems on both sides of the front end, covered thankfully, but one wonders why a car with only 75K miles and 7 years old would have the issue to begin with, door handles and windows that break. Hyundai may advertise a great warranty, but better would be a great warranty and not to need it.

I love it

It's roomy and we can fit out family and luggage whenever we travel without a problem. It would probably be my next vehicle purchase if they bring it back. I have really enjoyed it over all my cars

Happy with my Vera Cruz except for...

Would have given 5 stars but the valve cover oil leakage onto the generator is a problem that Hyundai just can't seem to solve. In 2014 Hyundai issued a Technical Service Bulletin 14-01-044 at the behest of the NHSTA requiring Hyundai to replace, when required, the gasket and generator in the event of oil leak/contamination. While the gasket replacement in 2014 should have fixed the issue it has not. My Vera Cruz has now had the gasket and generator replace FIVE times. On the plus side, Hyundai USA continues to back their product by replacing the gasket and generator when the need arises at no cost to me.

It is better than we expected!

I wish they hadn't stop making the Veracruz! I can't afford the big Santa Fe, lol. I think this SUV would have been a big seller. I liked it when they first came out. I guess I'm just a Hyundai fan. it is my 3rd one and I also talked my daughter into getting one. Love the warranty and the service I've received. Thank you,

We have been very happy with our Hyundai VeraCruz. It rides good, is comfortable and handles very well. We had hoped that Hyundai would continue making the VeraCruz because we wanted to buy another one as our second vehicle. Mm mmn

More repairs that I expected

I bought my 2011 Veracruz brand new. I initially did all the routine maintenance according to the manufacture recommendation, but after the 60,000 maintenance where the dealer/service advisor told me that some of the items weren't performed because it was decided they weren't necessary, I have been more selective in what I have done and where. The end of 2016 I had some front axle problem on the drivers side which was covered under warranty, and then in early 2017 I had the same problem on the passenger side, again covered under warranty. Both of those repairs would have been expensive had they not been covered and I was told it was a common problem on the Veracruz. July 2018, while driving down the road, I experienced a noise similar to being hit with something and parked and looked over the car, found nothing. Got home, tried to lower the drivers window and found it wouldn't work. Apparently the window regulator was broken. The warranty on that was 5 years, 60K miles and my car was 7 years and 75K. Cost to repair, $874. All in all, I have found this car to fairly reliable but when it breaks the repairs are costly.

Love my Vera Cruz

My Vera Cruz is a 2011 model but I still like it and trust it as much as the day I bought it. It is an excellent car for driving in the snow and ice. The extra row of seats makes it possible for me to drive with all 4 of my grandkids.
