A Good Choice

Overall pleased and satisfied with the purchase. The vehicle is comfortable, drives well, and it offers a number of important safety features. I am, however, annoyed by interior rattles that shouldn't occur in a brand new vehicle.

MPG and electric range untrue

Basically no all electric range on plugin, false numbers on range gauge, low mpg, no better then straight hybrid

Could be Better

I wish I realized that it only had an 11 gallon capacity tank that translates into maybe 400ish range . That slowed our trip to Florida. Finally figuring out how to run on just electric mode. One hint is to shut off heater. It used heat from the radiator which requires the engine to run. I wish the key fob lock confirmation was the horn. Hard to hear the little beep. Including a round trip to and from Florida-NY average gas mileage is settling around 41 MPG.

Nice Car, Fair Price

We like the PHEV, easy to use. Only option missing on this trim level is Garage Door opener built into the mirror or sun visor. Comfortable and quiet ride.

Exactly right for us

The car has worked out even better than expected for us. Most of our driving is around the Mpls-St Paul metro area and we expect a few longer trips per year. So far, essentially all our driving is using the electric charge. The car is comfortable, quiet and smooth to drive and has excellent acceleration when needed.

Very close, but a few more tweaks will nudge it to perfect!

Until Hyundai makes a fully electric, AWD Tuscon, the plug-in hybrid has been a pleasure to drive. Very quick to accelerate, and very quiet on the inside. Good cargo storage. Needed adjustments include the driver's seat, the drive-mode button, the center console, and the panel with climate control/seat heaters/etc needs haptic feedback, or a soft button of some kind.

Nice ride, buggy features

I love the way the cars rides, good pick up, great plug in , I don’t like the trunk and how it never works unless I use my key and why isn’t there a button o it to open it????

Excellent choice for a PHEV

I am loving my Hyundai Tucson PHEV. It is super comfortable and feels safe. Corners nicely and has zip with acceleration. The base model has the adaptive cruise control and every feature I wanted, whereas that was always the higher end model (and more expensive) with comparable cars from other companies. Also really nice sound system. I am less thrilled that the collision warning comes on occasionally unexpectedly (but I am glad I have it in general) and I do wish for a longer range: The tank is small so it is nice to drive away from the gas station with paying less than $30, but it would be nice to have more than about a 350 mile range on one fill. (The review is asking me about reliability, which I am unsure of yet since I have owned the car for 4 months so far.)

Good quality vehicle

The Plug-In hybrid option is very good and increase the versatility of All-Electric cars because of the battery range. The peace of mind about driving long trips are well cover with this vehicle at any season of the year. Additionally, the four-wheel drive is a safe bet in any type of terrain. The only reservation is the lack of spare tire in the car. I would like to recommend to Hyundai to add a spare tire in the event of an emergency flat. An event like this will be very uncomfortable for anybody traveling in the middle of the country side.

2025 Hyundai Tucson plug-in hybrid has bugs

Electronic system not functioning properly. Key fob has never opened hatch, seat positions and phone connections do I not hold, warning system sound stopped. Finally had time for appointment Oct 9 -all day. Having to pay for rental doesn’t seem right.
