I Love My Sonata!

I have a Hyundai Sonata 2018 Limited. I love my car! It is very roomy and comfortable. I feel like I’ve gotten a great value for the money. There are many perks that would cost significantly more on another brand. I cannot say enough good things about my car!

The 2018 Sonata Is Not Just Car!

We have had our 2018 Sonata for just over three and a half years now. We love every feature of it except one. Well actually, it's a feature that needs to be added, or should I say brought back. That is the release feature for the rear seats. The release from the trunk was a great addition, but the removal of the seat release from inside the car removed a very convenient feature which I'd like to see brought back. It just made placing something in the trunk easy from a security standpoint, versus taking whatever out, walking around the the rear of the vehicle and placing the item in the trunk while visible to others in the vicinity. Otherwise, our Sonata is the perfect car. This is our second, and I have little doubt that we'll always have a Sonata unless of course Hyundai drops the line.

I really enjoy driving my 2018 Hyundai Sonata SEL and love the new body style, as it is a sporty look with a new grill. Great features for the price. Only which, I would decided on buying the Hyundai Sport instead with sunroof and dual exhaust

Engine problems ruined my experience still love Hyundai

Idling problem drove me insane. Idled too low at a stop so taking off and accelerating would cause a weird rumble and braking it would dip so low it would effect the way it breaks as well. Handling isn't the best either. Very comfy and plenty of room though

So in love with my car

I love this car, was looking at one about 6 years ago and saved my money to finally get one. It's roomy especially when you have one child over 6'3" and another almost 5'10" . needed the room and it's a very comfortable car. It turns on a dime and has the power and maneuverability that we were looking for as well as a very economical. Love my 3 drive modes as well as the 6speed automatic. I love that I can control so much of the things I do in my car from the steering wheel. Phone calls are crystal clear and make for an amazing hands free experience.

Horrible Dealership

The car was fine. I will never purchase another Hyundai due to the dealer network. The dealer is dishonest and would not repair the car under warranty. I went back to a tried and true brand that will support their customer.

The vehicle interior and exterior are well designed with features such as Bluetooth, and the bluelink is a great feature to have. With optional SirusXM radio although extra after 6 months but a good addition to the car.

2018 Sonata Sport

This is our second Sonata in about 5 years. We previously had a 2016 Sonata that we enjoyed but when the 2018 Sonata Sport came out we decided to trade up. What a great improvement Hyundai engineers made when designing the 2018. The feature packed Sport has a beautiful interior as well as a sharp exterior and the diamond white paint scheme along with the black leather interior really sets it off. We had a slight problem days after taking delivery of our vehicle however. I noticed a slight vibration upon braking at certain speeds (mostly highway) and had to return the vehicle to Pugi for inspection. It was determined by their service technicians that the brake rotors were slightly warped which resulted in that vibration at certain speeds. I expected them to replace all 4 rotors but they opted to resurface all 4. Although the resurfacing of the rotors did alleviate the vibration, I paid for a vehicle with new parts not refurbished or resurfaced parts. That being said, I can't honestly complain about the reliability of our Sonata because it has been extremely reliable. If there were one thing I really wish the vehicle had it's more engine power. Just an extra 30 to 40 horsepower would make a tremendous difference in the performance and sportiness of the vehicle. I would say one of the biggest improvements in the 2018 model is the ride quality as well as the steering feel which are both much improved over the 2016 year model. If you're looking for a reliable, comfortable used vehicle, you should definitely look into the 2018 Sonata Sport.

Hyundai does not stand behind its warranty

I was developing into a loyal Hyundai customer (second car) yet they have decided to stop standing behind their cars. There is a problem with their engines consuming oil, and instead of honoring their famous warranty, they have decided to saddle the owners with a perpetual, dangerous, and eventually expensive engine issue. I am cautioning anyone who is looking to purchase a car that consumes oil.

Best car I have ever had.

I was always an American made cars. Until I purchased a Hyundai Accent for my daughter , i was amazed by its performance. Then I bought myself the sonata, amazing car. I am 58 years old and I do believe, it will be Hyundai for the rest of my days.
