Sonata Hyb follow up

This is the second Sonata Hybrid I have owned. I like the car very much. It is comfortable, provides a smooth ride with little or no felling of switching from the gas engine to the electric. The acceleration is good and the gas mileage is very good. My next car will be another hybrid.

vehicle is very comfortable for travel, very economical only problem I have is that the radio and navigation system does not work all the time. They have replaced three systems and are having to replace it again for it is intermittingly not booting up or the system freezes in mid use. other than that it is a great vehicle and dependable on the road.

Best car I've owned

The Sonata Hybrid has everything i wanted in a car. Luxury driving feeling, Comfy leather seats, all the gadgets i need and the best mpg Ive ever gotten!!!! its no sports car but it has the power when you need it. Never can go wrong with 10 year 100,000 miles warranty and lifetime battery warranty.

Poor Gas Mileage

My hybrid gets 32 - 36 mpg, a far cry from the 40 mpg I was expecting. Acceleration from a stop has a second or so delay as in press the gas pedal and NOTHING happens initially. The brakes are also randomly touchy. Every once in a while , a tap of the brakes will cause a full scale lock up. Seats are uncomfortable after a few hours. Cruise control will occasionally reset itself to a higher speed if you've had to accelerate with it on.

My Sonata Hybrid

Have never owned a hybrid before but the experience has been very pleasurable. Runs so smooth and quiet. Hardly even know its running except for dash lights being on.

The car is excellent

We traveled a lot recent years. Because Sonata hybrid is trustworthy we go freely cities US and Canada. Hyundai! Good job! I am proud of having it because it was made by Korean, my native people even though i am a citizen of US and have lived for 38 years.

Our 2015 Sonata Hybrid Limited Premium is a roomy, comfortable midsize that rides well on both local roads and the highway. My wife and I have consistently exceeded EPA mileage estimates for city and highway through over 9,000 miles so far during the first year. The generous Hyundai warranty was a contributing factor to our purchase as first time Hyundai buyers. Our 2015 Sonata has only required service visits for oil changes.

I love my 2015 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid

Although there was a burned rubber smell when I first took delivery on my car, the smell went away after several months of driving. The smell had me very concerned. Since the smell has gone away, I absolutely love my Sonata Hybrid. The gas mileage is sweet. The drive is comfortable. The interior is roomy. And the back-up camera, blue tooth, and GPS are great features. I highly recommend this car. I have owned my car for just over 1 year.
