Excellent Value for Premium Sedan

I have owned BMW'S and Mercedes and this car is definitely in that class. Even more important is the maintenance doesn't empty your pocket. Highly recommended. This model has now been replaced by the Genesis G90, but I have no intention of upgrading at this point.

Eqqus owner review

I love my Eqqus. Have always got good compliments on this vehicle even still and it's 5 years old. Love the roomy interior. The brown leather in a all white car is a eye catcher for sure.. First thing they notice. Don't think they should have discontinued this style in the north America region. I still get the what kind of car is that question. The new design is too scaled back in size. IJS. Love mine.

Great luxury car

I love my car. Very quiet and smooth ride. Dependable car. Very comfortable and luxurious. Very fast acceleration. Comfortable seats, love hologram display, love heated seats and steering wheel. Like automatic sunscreens going up and down.

Exceptional Equus

Very impressed with my 2014 Equus. Flawless to date. A very smooth ride and exceptionally quiet. The engine and transmission unit extremely smooth and responsive. Many features to the point that I don’t know what I would add. I thought my previous car (Lexus 430) was the best ever but the Equus is actually better.

Like riding In A Limousine Every Time I Get In The Car!

After over a year of ownership there are still features in the car I am not sure how to use. So many buttons, features, and toys to play with WOW! The power of the V8 engine is spectacular as is the suspension. Decibel levels in this sedan has got to be one of the lowest of any car. Silence is golden!! The only annoyances are no digital clock just an analog clock that is hard to see by the driver. The navigation system has a NON touch screen. I have to turn a knob and push the knob for functions to perform and to get and results. So 1990.

i would buy another and another!!

To say I am happy with my Equus would be a gross understatement. Best car I have ever owned! Great power when you need it; excellent ride - smooth and quiet; the first car I've owned that tracks and maintains the speed of the car in front of you when in Cruise Control! Too many amenities to list so I'll sum it up...my grandson always asks if he can ride in the LIMO today.

Of all the large cars I have owned, Chevy, Buick, infinity, bmw, Lexus, this car by far is the best car I have ever owned.

I had a 2015 Genesis but lost it in an accident. This 2014 vehicle I love the ride, but miss the upgraded features that were on my Genesis. The speedometer in the windshield, the self correcting guidance system. This Equss only alerts you if you cross the lanes. But beyond that I love the style, comfort & other features especially all of the seats recline. Its a road car very comfortable. My husband has his 2015 Genesis I can drive when needed.

I love the size and the comfort of this vehicle. It is a head turner and anyone who has ridden in it love the vehicle as well. I am sorry the body style is no longer available and will be sad when it is time to replace it.

Great Luxury Car

We have owned our Equus for 4 years and have been very happy with it. It has been reliable and a very comfortable car to drive. The only problem I have had - which has never been resolved is the Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFLS). This has never worked and despite several efforts to get corrected and several letters to Hyundaa ( none of which were answered), the problem continues to this day. No one seemed to want to acknowledge that there was a problem. I finally gave up. I did drive a G90 and it also has this feature that worked properly. I was told that I would not be able to see the movement not true, it was clearly visible on the G90. All other aspects of this vehicle are great, but the lack of follow up on the AFLS is very disappointing. I doubt that this review will result in an corrective action..

Hyundai Equus catching up to the top brands.

I came from a Lexus LS460 and bought the Equus as it felt just as nice and over $10,000 less in purchase price. I feel that for the money the Hyundai Equus is a better value for the upfront cost. The resale value seems to take a bit of a beating though so it averages out with the Lexus. Maybe after a few more years of good service reports this car's resale value might improve to beat out the other brands. The warranty is the best part and the primary reason I would buy another Hyundai or Genisus. They have a very good product and value for the money vehicle selection. The Equus held the road better then the Lexus on the highway and more power to move that big iron. Overall I am very impressed with the Hyundai Equus.

Great ride, smooth, love the size, the speed that it goes:) For a luxury car they certainly outdid themselves. I will definitely look at another Equus when I'm done with this one. Maybe the newer models will get better gas milage.

Nice Car

I love my Equus, however, I regret not getting the fully loaded one. Its a very nice riding vehicle with lots of power. I would rather have it than any BMW, Lexus, Audi, Cadillac, Mercedes, Chevy, Ford and Porsche. It does present a heaver carbon build up when stomping on the gas pedal. Thats the only dislike and wish there was a solution

One of the finest cars I've had. Some of those cars were: Cadillac,Lincoln,Audi. Touch screen should have been in The Equus, other cars of the same year already had it. Navigation system should be a lot easier to operate. Most maintenance issues revolve around electronics .

Our experience with our Equus has been great. The car is very easy to drive and provides wonderful comfort. Great car with all the bells and whistles. At highway speed the car is quiet and smooth riding. We had had no problems with the car at all. On the highway we get 22-24 mpg which is good for a 4600 lb vehicle. The car is quick and responsive.

Amazing comfort and performance

Like the car. Ride is smooth. Power is ample. Built is sturdy. Luxurious space. Only draw back is perhaps not having an all wheel drive. Otherwise super impressed with all the features. Sports mode is amazing

Wonderful car to drive when it works

The reason for the lower rating is that major electronic components tend to break, starting tin the first few months of ownership and continuing throughout the years. Thank goodness for a 5 year bumper to bumper warranty but once this is gone (in about 3 months in my case) not sure that I will want to pump thousands of dollars into the car every time it breaks down.

Best car I've ever owned

Very pleased with my Equus. Have owned Lexus and many Calillacs. Equus exceeds them all. Reliability has been excellent. Drives very well, strong pick up, smooth ride. Due to rear wheel drive, needs snow tires but service department makes that fairly easy.

I'm in love w my Equus!!!!! I hate that the dealership discontinued the Equus, but the G90 is lovely. I've had a wonderful experience w the fully loaded vehicle and happy. Thanks for a perfected product. I have the best of all (550 Mercedes, Audi, BMW) included in my EQUUS. Muahh to the designer's of my Bomb.com luxury sedan.

Awesome vehicle

Huyandai should reconsider making EQUUS the Flagship Brand instead of Genesis. The Vehicle has unique styling, comfort, reliable performance and should be back on production line. EQUUS performs comparable with MB “S” Class.
