Glad I looked at a Genesis…a great car

This car is elegant and practical, a rare combination. Mine has the 375 hp twin turbo…plenty of power. There are only a few things I would change. The two hand dials next to each other create confusion. One operates the transmission, and the other is the selector for a myriad of driver choices…map view, navigation, etc. That needs to change on next design to avoid shifting gears or selecting Park when you just want to change the map view!

2025 Genesis GV70

Built with tons of technology. From safety features to seat massage. I love that it has both heated and vented seats, driver assist, great cameras to allow you to see all the way around the car. Lots of get up and go without a ton of gas usage. Plenty of space for shopping. The auto park is a cool feature too

Awesome vehicle.

To say this vehicle is more than I could even imagined would be understated. Genesis has engineered a stunningly attractive car that’s pure pleasure to drive. I’ve owned the car for 4 months now and can’t think of one single thing that I would change. Awesome ride!

I have a lemon, and do not feel safe driving it.

My car is 4 months old and needs new transmission. It has been in service for 3 weeks and it could be months before parts come in. I hate this car and want my money back or a new car. Genesis is getting a lot of bad publicity from me. I regret changing from Lexus which I drove for 30 years.

Absolutely love my GV70

I love the GV70, but need an update to be able to disable/turn off the auto start-stop function, instead of have to turn off every time you start vehicle. That's my only issue i don't like, but great performance, best looking interior and design, Smooth ride great car.

Genesis GV70

The Genesis GV 70 is a beautiful vehicle that offers lots of comfort and is fun to drive. It is quiet and the drive is smooth, like slicing butter. The GV70 is spacious throughout and there is a lot of room to stow items when traveling. There are a lot of bells and whistles that I am getting used to. No one is allowed to eat in this car. My friends are envious too!

Great Ride

Comfortable ride, wish front sensors and front camera was included in the “Select” package. More storage in the front seat area would be nice. Genesis Connect and maintenance included at no charge. Good power for a 2.5 engine, still gets up and goes.

Rough bumpy ride, beautiful look

The GV70 is a great-looking SUV. The interior and exterior are beautifully designed. The main issue is the ride, which is incredibly bumpy and shaky. Buyer beware. The aestheitics are not worth the poor reliability. Issues began with less than 200 miles.

Great design, ride, technology & warranty. But a few flaws as well

Genesis is very close to being a top luxury brand. The car is well designed, has a fabulous ride with great tech n board. The warranty bests its competitors and the price is attractive as well. The dealer network is staffed with Hyundai level personnel. The Apple CarPlay is not flawless. The car squeaks when first started and put into reverse??

I love my Genesis!

I feel very safe while driving it. It has everything I would want. I love the camera and the sensors around the car. I always feel safe in it. I love how the car pay connects without a wire. Also love how roomy it is. The back seat has a lot of room. I just wish the back seats had seat warmers. Overall I love my car.

love this car as much as our 2017 G80 haven't driven it that much because of some health issues but look forward to a long trip when I an able. Fit and finish is excellent and the interior very user friendly. Thought I would struggle with the tech part very east to understand

Vehicle wanders a lot so you are always actively steering it and it continuously corrects itself when auto steer is engaged. The finger print device to access your set up seldom senses and I have to use my code. Two of the tires kept loosing air pressure and the local dealership could not figure it out (took it in three times for the issue) so I took it to Discount Tire and they replaced each of the schrader valve cores which resolved the issue. The rear window washer seeps fluid on the window, took it in to dealership and they replaced it but it is leaking again, just less. Other than that it is fine.

Checks all the boxes for me

This car has interior and exterior styling, build quality, performance, ride, comfort and handling plus all the features, bells and whistles you could want. Fun to drive. I haven't had to take it in for service so I can't comment on the dealer's service department.

overall a beautiful car but steering and suspension is problematic

Car is two months old and now having to take it back because steering is rough and ride is shaky for the second time. Overall buying experience was great and so far the team has been very responsive. Just range car to work for the reasons I purchased it. This is my first new car in 25 years and want it to live up to the name

Excellent comfort, and safety/vision technology. Convenience features can be improved to customize and save individual drivers preference. Auto set Door lock and unlock is not user friendly. The phone pairing needs to be controlled by “user profile “ so it defaults to current driver . Rear liftgate needs redesign. It’s slow and inconvenient.

2025 Genesis GV70

Have not had the vehicle long enough to rate long term reliability but so far everything is fine. The GV70 is everything I expected and more. I liked my previous vehicle but love the Genesis. Although the vehicle I previously had was a premium SUV, the Genesis is superior to that vehicle in many ways.

Great car with some quirks

I've owned g80 ultimate when genesis split from Hyundai, and that was one of the best cars I had, I've gad g70 as I liked the exterior but the cheap interior made me dislike it fairly quickly, I did like the interior of gv70, digital display, leather quilted seats, I didn't care about the v6 engine, I'd prefer 4 cylinder, however the way that Genesis loads the cars with their options, pushes you towards to top model, why did they use clothes seats on top trim in 4 cylinder family? Or why did they use this ugly half analog and digital speed cluster on v6 advanced? Here's the thing, seats are gorgeous but not comfortable, that is being agreed on many youtube videos, fingerprint scanner doesn't work quite often , gas milage is a joke and the performance is not that greatn let's be real here, looks is subjective, the ergonomic seat, are you kidding me? I had a Land Rover evoque which is way cheaper and that was a good massage, this is embarrassing take on what it feels to have a massage seats, cabin inside is lound when it comes to wind noise, materials are nice, the cabin mood lights are nice, but of course, they cheaper out on doors and put a led in a door pocket, there are plenty of those things, but in general, the cabin is still super nice and you can tell and feel like you're driving something special, but the car just feels bit unfinished and that's a shame on Genesis.

Luxury and Performance are Unmatched.

To get all of the upgrades and performance elements of my GV70 in comparable SUV models I would need to spend thousands of dollars more for those. The ride is smooth and quiet, acceleration is dynamic, the fit and feel of the interior cabin is luxurious, and the design and exterior lines and design are eye catching and sporty,

It's a nice-looking car with a stylish interior and the latest technology options. Future enhancements for Genesis could involve reducing cabin noise and refining multimedia features. For instance, the automatic connection of music apps upon starting the car is quite bothersome.

Smooth Riding

I am enjoying the smooth ride, but have had a couple of personal issues. I am 5ft 2in tall, and would have liked the seat to raise a little higher for better visibility. Also the bulky design in the back deters physical visibility, relying mostly on back camera ( a disadvantage compared to my old Audi Q5). I am also prone to lower back pain and find there isn't sufficient lumbar support. Another disappointment is the inability to find any Genesis dealer who can supply touchup paint for my car (KGN Storr Green 2025) - apparently not available from manufacturer??
