Overall good but a few annoyances.

Good car overall, reliable. But too many buttons to deal with, too many steps when all you want to do is drive. Central dash very hard to use. You had to touch the buttons "exactly" to get them to work and this is hard to do while driving. You had to take your eyes off the road to do it. For a luxury SUV, it's surprising what was not in included, like cameras front and sides. And no front sensors. Also, no cover for the trunk, had to buy it. Re the engine, very noticeable turbo lag. Dangerous in several situations.

Fun to drive - seats outclass my Land Rover

Great features, touch screen is more reliable and easier to navigate than other cars I've owned. The only thing I don't understand is why all of the chrome window trim has a film over it that you can scratch off - looks really crappy. I have yet to hear what can be done, based on the warranty against this kind of thing. Otherwise the exterior paint job is perfect and really unique. Even with only 6k mile on this GV70, so far, I'd still want another one after I use this one up.

The only issue I have is on pick up the engine sound more noisy. I owed a 2020 g80 that was much smoother and quieter.

Sleek design with abundant features at a very competitive price

GV 70 is a terrific vehicle. Its design is sporty with plenty of features that are standard and the vehicle size is ideal - neither too large or too small. Most importantly the product is very competitively priced with warranties that shame many other European or Japanese competitors

Chrome Trim Issue

The exterior Chrome pieces around my windows are continually discoloring. I have had to replace them twice. My car is still under warranty so it has not cost me anything. I was told by the car dealership that this is an ongoing problem and that this was just something I am going to have to deal with. This is totally unacceptable. I have owned many cars by many different manufacturers and have never had this problem with any car I owned.

I love my car, but the service is lacking

I love my car. It's beautiful and luxurious. However, a very large reason for getting the Genesis was the service. "We will pick it up. You will get a loaner car..." None of that happens. It's very very inconvenient to just do standard maintenance. I did have a very large issue with my car and it was in the service dept for almost a month. When I got it back it hasn't run the same since. No pick up and go at all. So, it's not awesome anymore.

So far the car is reliable. I have not had any issues other drivers have had with transmission and odds and ends that come up. Good service center and friendly staff. I feel the car is built well and feel safe driving it

Beautiful Car. Poor Quality.

The vehicle was beautiful inside and out, however mechanically it was a disaster. Four recalls including an improperly installed driveshaft and rear differential. After the driveshaft/rear differential was fixed it would still intermittently clunk into Reverse, Park or Drive. This was never fixed by the service department nor did they truly take the time to investigate the issue properly. I had originally intended to buy the vehicle at lease maturation, however an unreliable transmission and a poor owner/service experience soured me on the brand.
