2023 Genesis GV60

The vehicle come well equipped with options especially for an EV. Throughout the three years that I at least this vehicle it has been pretty reliable. It only has had two glitches over the three years with the software. Once I was driving in the screen went totally black. I had to pull over and reset the screen. Other than that, the vehicle drove well.

Car is good, but beware of the lack of concierge support

The car works well, but there are many recalls. Each recall requires a trip to the dealership. I was promised concierge service where they would pick up the car, but the dealerships don't appear to want to honor that.

I love the vehicle, but I don't love all of the recalls.

I like the car a lot, and love the features. However, I find the user interface difficult to follow and I don't use many of the features because of their complexity. I also don't care for the lack of cooperation in the servicing of the vehicle. I thought it would be easy to have the car service because of the concierge service I was promised, but it has been a disappointment as the dealerships don't appear willing to support it.

Quiet, Fast, Luxurious

Its truly a pleasure to drive - I look forward to my commute each day. If I have any quibbles, they are minor. Range and efficiency could be better. The seats are comfortable enough, but are a bit hard and could be more plush. Driving experience and vehicle quality is generally great, but have had a few more recalls than I would like. The dealership experience is the biggest concern. We need more Genesis dealerships in Silicon Valley.

Super smooth, stable road car

GV60 is quiet, fast, and very stable on the highway and thru any turn on a small road. It's a bit wide, so not optimal in an old city with narrow streets.

Great Car / Service Not The Same Level

The GV60 is a fantastic car to drive. It has a smooth and quiet ride. All the bells and whistles are adaptable to your preferences (ie maybe you want to push buttons without touching the screen or maybe you prefer to change things via steering wheel buttons; many different ways). Service for the car when needed is terrible. There are no dealerships within a 10 mile radius of San Jose, CA. The dealerships that are available have few technicians capable of servicing which affects days you can get car serviced, how fast the vehicle is serviced, and their ability to problem solve. The luxury service they sell you on, is maybe only applicable to a small number of dealerships that you hope is near you.

Gv60 2023 Review

Overall, the GV60 has proven to be a very cost effective car with a very low cost of ownership. However, it has not proven to be a luxury EV. The GPS display is inferior, the trip GPS routing must be reset after each stop, suspension system (SHOCKS ETC.) have deteriorated, the control software systems are not intuitive, and visibility of the rear window is limited.

Perfect car, just one flaw.

I love my GV 60 in every way but one. I live in Colorado and use the heater 6-7 months out of the year. I can not find a way to heat the drivers feet without cranking it all the way up.

Wonderful vehicle lousy service (Now)

Great car fun to drive but local dealership closed so service such. Closest service center more than typically 1.5 to 2 hours away. Highly recommend the vehicle would not purchase again, lack of local dealership.

Endless problems

I bought an EV to avoid having to bring my car in for service all the time. Joke’s on me. I have to bring my 2023 GV60 to be serviced at least once very 6 months due to repeat software issues and recalls. I was told when I bought it that because the nearest dealership with service was over an hour away, I could use their concierge service and have repairs done at my place. That was a lie. I have to make a 3 hour round-trip to the closest Genesis service department very, very frequently. And if I want a loaner, I have to wait months for my appointment. So the most recent time that my software alerted me that it wasn’t working, I delayed getting it serviced because at this point it’s almost traumatic to have to go through the whole service process. Then a car in front of me stopped short and my emergency brake system failed, so I slammed into the car in front of me, which shouldn’t have been possible. I’m looking into getting counsel for a possible class action.

Love this Car

The car drives incredibly well -- excellent handling, responsive, quick, smooth ride. Extremely comfortable seats and configuration. The buttons, some programable, make for an excellent user experience. Much to commend. Negatives: I never got the digital touch sensor to work -- it will recognize my finger for about 48 hours and then fails. The face recognition for vehicle unlock is quite useful. Increased miles per charge would be great.
