Not sure if these guys intentionally did so to get me to come back so they can grift more money from me, but I had brought my 2016 escape in to get my transmission cable repaired. He did an absolutely terrible job. Couldn't get my car down into sport mode as it felt like there was too much tension, the shifter itself kept sticking after he had it and I come to find out that he didn't even do the repair properly from the mechanic I took it to now after the cable snapped. He used the same worn grommet from my original cable instead of replacing it with a new one, so the repair he did only lasted 2 months at most.
