Avoid Westside Hyundai at All Costs! Terrible Experience with Unethical Sales Practices
I recently purchased a used Mercedes from Westside Hyundai in Florida, and my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. After paying $2,000 on December 14th, I wasn’t approved to pick up the car until Monday, December 30th. I had arranged for a transport company to pick up the vehicle on Friday, January 3rd, but was told by the dealership that the car wasn't ready. The Sales Manager explained that it was still in service, working on the sunroof, and would be ready the next day — not taking into account that these transport companies have specific timeframes for pickup and delivery.

The next day, the driver arrived only to be kept waiting for over 3 hours before the car was finally released. The vehicle was delivered late Sunday night, and when I inspected it, it was immediately clear that the condition of the car was far from what I had expected. The vehicle was riddled with multiple scratches, the radiator was badly damaged, the sunroof was nonfunctional, and key parts like the gas door and tow cap were missing. None of these issues were disclosed to me at any point during the sale.

The next morning, I began examining the car more closely. The sunroof was broken — if it’s hot outside, the interior gets unbearably hot because the sunroof won’t close. The radiator was severely dented, the music system doesn't work at all, and overall, the car was in terrible condition. This vehicle should never have been sold in such a state.

Since then, I’ve been trying to reach the Salesman, Sales Manager, and GM to address these serious issues, but after multiple calls every single day, no one has responded or taken any action. This is especially troubling considering I bought the vehicle to use for transporting my one-year-old baby.

I would strongly urge anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to stay far away. Their lack of communication, dishonesty about the car’s condition, and failure to address serious issues after the sale is unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and avoid Westside Hyundai at all costs.

Tragic experience
ATTENTION READER: DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! This review is based on my personal experience with the dealership. THERE'S A REASON THEY ONLY HAVE 2 STARS ON HERE!

Dealership is run by people who simply do to care about you. Just chasing sales. It's a dealership so I didn't expect them to care but the audacity is unreal.

I was in the market for a vehicle, I reached out and every day I would get 5+ calls, texts, emails about buying a car from them.

I finally drove up two hours from Orlando to Jax to buy a car. They had to bring the car over from a sister dealership. In the two hours I drove there, the car was not on property when I arrived.

I was forced into buying a "family plan" (funny name since they don't give a crap about you) because the family plan was "already attached to the vehicle and they couldn't sell the car without it because they already pretreated the car, put on door guards and had the vin number etched in all the windows.

Family plan comes with an app to access all your "exclusive features" .

My sales person Simona had no idea on how to use it or even activate it. I got the run around for a week to get any information on it. I finally asked the the GM Colby and things got even worse. He said he would take care of the issue but then ghosted me for a week.

I was fed up and tired of waiting because I needed the info on the family plan because not even a week after getting the car, the door guards were peeling off. I reached out to the companys CEO's sons, Marc and Jack Jr (who run the business at the corporate level) and they said they would investigate. Colby called me the same day and addressed half my issues. Said he would get back to me by end of day 8/12. It is now 8/20 and haven't heard a peep from Colby.

BUT BEFORE I BOUGHT THE CAR I HAD SIMONA AND HER MANAGER BLOWING UP MY PHONE! But now that I've left, they don't want anything to do with me and clearly chasing the $$$.

Sucks you can't trust any car dealerships, not even family owned ones. You would think they would want long time customers who come back to buy cars multiple times but no, they just want the one and done, chase the commission check and then move on to the next person.

Do not buy a car from here. Read the other reviews. You will regret it.

Horrible service!!! Don't go there!!!
Horrible service experience!!!
Had an appointment but still 30 mins to check in, then clerk had attitude! What do you want? we are busy!! Excuse me? am I the customer here?
Awful!!! and at least 3 hours wait time.
Save yourself from poor awful experience and don't go there!!!!

NEVER would use again!
New sales AND the service department - zero stars if I could. I would NEVER take a vehicle here. The level of service is appalling. If their service department was a standalone shop, it would be out of business with their lack of service and care.

First of I bought a car back in June until today almost 3 months I have no papers(plates,registration nor title) even though vehicle is %100 paid off.

Second I was overcharged $500 I talked to both sales man and finance man they said they will refund me but I haven’t received any money.

And last but not least the car was washed in and out very well and this is the only thing they did to the car because after got home the next day I took it to dealership and it was due to almost every service ( oil change,new tires, spark plugs,phone charger outlet wasn’t working,trunk wouldn’t close automatically as supposed ,alignment, and transmission service)so if you must buy from here I suggest you at least do prepurcheas test or diagnostic.

Beware buying used car get your own mechanic to look at prior to purchase Sold a lemon
Bought a used car last week paid cash. We drive the car Friday to make sure no issues. The car stalled on 95. Went to the dealership less than 24 hours of purchase and spoke to sales manager. He had his response very rehearsed. You signed the yellow paper as is. We asked to purchase back our sons 2008 Jeep Patriot that we got less than 800.00 for. We were told they had to inspect it first. Lol the car we bought was not fully inspected. Dealership is all about the money. Not trying to have repeat customers. Safety is not a concern. The car is sitting in our driveway , as it is unsafe for our son to drive.

Wasted weeks my time, damaged credit, no ethics
Back and forth for 3 weeks after they told me GV80 had sold sign on it and was ours to buy or refuse. Sold car day before we were going to purchase...told them I wasbuying cash because they Lied about financing 2x... 1st said my wife was approved before she was (760+ credit) second time about them not controlling the rate(they get paid by bank up front for higher rate). Tried to overcharge $3k for a 'upgrade/service that is worthless... just ask them for actual contract in writing, they don't have one). I expect I will get the 'cookie cutter' reply to call the 'general manager' to resolve this... funny how they never call anyone on their own. They are just trying to cover the negative reviews. Positive reviews most likely purchased and fake... easy to do online. HORRIBLE ethics...spend your money elsewhere. Plenty of better options in Fl.

Not Good .
My wife and i , went to Hyundia on our given Appointment 'Pat 'was our service Adviser she try her best , the Mechanics dealing with our car took 10- days to deal with Brake issue , he had more then enough time to check all the fluid , to my surprise my oil was not change 'i pay for it , i look at thew power steering fluid dry to the Bone , the BRAKE FLUID , Doesn't move still top , never bother to look at , front missing plastic screw all missing , this is why i like to meet the mechanic that working on my car , i bought this car at Rick in Hollywood , Broward , the service and set up over there is 4 stars , they have hallway with window in the mechanics area that you can watch your car and service man working on your car .
