Yes, we did perform a clean and adjust approximately 1,000 miles ago. However, we did not perform a brake replacement or full brake job at that time.
The need for brake adjustment can vary depending on driving conditions and how often the vehicle is driven in reverse, which helps the rear drum brakes self-adjust. If the vehicle isn’t backed up regularly, the rear brakes may not stay properly adjusted, which is why a clean and adjust could be recommended again sooner. Keeping the rear brakes properly adjusted also helps prevent excessive wear on the front brake pads.
We’d be happy to recheck the brake adjustment at no charge to ensure everything is working as it should.
