Misdiagnosis
Don’t let these people work on your vehicle they misdiagnosed the turbo problem and then change their diagnostic after they found out the turbo was not the problem unbelievable group over there

Warning beware
If you plan on doing any business at all with wellmans make sure you get everything in writing do not take their word for anything they are dishonest and lie about the parts that they put on your car and want to overcharge and don’t stand behind their diagnostics

Sprinter Van nightmare

I took my Sprinter Van into Duke Wellman Wellman‘s repair shop they diagnosed my van as a bad turbo two months later $2000 later I picked my van up the van ran 4 mph broke down 1 mile from their shop I had to call for a tow to get the van to my home I called Wellman‘s they would not answer the phone so I called back twice the lady finally answered the phone and I asked for Mr. Duke to call me in the morning to adjust the bill for their missed diagnosis on my van and reimbursed me for my tow bill but yet to my surprise Duke never returned my call so I called him and Dehk was out and he said he would be back shortly so I left my name and number for him to call me back and of course never did more reviews to come I will keep everyone updated on the final diagnosis on my van and what the real problem is just beware make sure you take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic
Wellman needs to have better customer service and admit when they’re wrong duke you need to own up to what your company has done but I will keep you posted on the damage that we find

Beware
See Google reviews for total details. Took my vehicle to Wellmans to have the rotors turned brake pads & brake lines bled. Called next day to see if it was ready they hadn't started on it. Jonmichael said it would be $1,146.48 stating repairs needed. Had it moved by wrecker because he refused to put brakes on without the added brake repairs he said it needed. The shop I had it moved to charged me ony $450. This review is to help other customers.

1990 BMW Z3 repair
The repair was for an AWS, security system, reflashing. Wellman's did the repair in one day in charge less than a hundred bucks. BMW wanted almost a thousand dollars.

Enough said. Total Pros.

Misdiagnosis of 2005 Volkswagen Touareg
Good afternoon,

I recently had a diagnostics done on my vehicle from Wellman's that cost me $391 and some change hen in fact my truck was misdiagnosed as was told the vehicle would cost over $3800 to fix. I would like o talk to someone regarding this matter as I have now spent over $1000 (your diagnostics included) for something that Volkswagen themselves fixed for free. I was told I needed to replace my camshaft and my vehicle is running in almost perfect condition after simply swapping the plug wires after I informed you all that I had just changed them which seemed like the logical place to start. I would never recommend this place to anyone as you can see I would have been out of thousands of dollars plus the one thousand that I am out of for something that is, but was not part of a simple diagnostics test.

DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE MISINFORMED!!!

Dan said the employees did not tell him what was going on with his service. They tried to tell him his insurance would not cover his repairs. He followed up with his insurance and they confirmed they did. The employees charged him more than they should have. They changed his quoted price.
