Cheap quality apartments!!! WORST MOVE EVER
Quality of the apartment is so cheap. The rent is so expensive for the amount of square foot you get. Pictures and advertising is faked and very deceiving. Do not move in. The kitchen cabinets are oldder than my grandmother, literally weak wood that has been there for years and years. By the sink you can see it is clearly infested with maggots and all kinds of strange bugs and creature's come out from the wood. The appliances brake down very often and when you call maintenance it takes days even weeks for them to "fix" the issue. They never put anything new. I can tell they do not like to invest money in these apartments. The people that stay and live here are drug addicts or drug dealers that do not mind all the ghetto activity. I personally noticed the neighbors stay up at night. It is always so very noisy at night and at midnight you can hear every single thing voices, kids crying, TVs blasting, people drinking and talking. My downstairs neighbors would play loud music daily during the day, it would make my apartment floor shake. I literally never had peace or quiet residing at Walnut East Apartments. I hated living there every single minute of my life. I couldn't get out of my lease because they don't let you do month-to -month. The worst part was walking throung the complex smelling dog poop. The apartment complex is pet friendly and the pet owners do not clean up after thier pet. You can't even open your window or porch because the stench is so bad. The laundry room is a rip off. It is very filthy and the washer and dryers don't serve thier purpose. I am always having to re-wash my clothes because the washer just gets my clothes full of unknown hairs. I can keep going but I don't want to remember this terrible experience. I only hope that with writing this I am able to bring awareness to others so that they don't make the same mistake that I did by moving in here.
