5.7 L.. also AI Chat GPT 40 and my owner’s manual all came up with
7.9 quarts after drain, refill and filter. About 8 years ago, I was told by the dealership capacity was 8.9 quarts . Didn’t think much of it after that always had my oil changed until last week when I ordered my oil from Amsoil they even called out 7.9 and I told the girl what the heck throw in an extra court, in case I need some more for some reason. Had my oil changed at Virginia Hills Auto Repair I thought there would be one qt.left over. Went back to ask the man and he said no I used 8.9. ! ! ! And I told him I’ve been getting 7.9 all over the place he said yes, but you’re overlooking your oil cooler ! You have the tow package So it looked like I didn’t believe him ! I hope he didn’t think I was calling him a liar ! They have repaired my truck in the past and I’ve been very happy with the work. I can tell the difference between a rookie and a seasoned mechanic it stands out in their work. Thanks guys for putting your hearts heads and hands into your profession.
