Do Not take your car here. In February I drove my car into Veneta Automotive with a light knocking sound. Tyler convinced me it was a blown engine rod; he told me it would be a month and a half tell he would be done because he had to send the engine out to two different shops to have it fixed. I put $2,000 down on the job which was three fourths of the coast of the job. After a month of sitting in front of his shop it finale went into the shop for one and a half days then was moved to the side of his parking lot, a big white tank goes behind it blocking it in and there it sat. After nine weeks of him supposedly working on my car, 3 blown deadlines, I gave up on him finishing it and called a tow truck to meet me and my new mechanic to take possession of my car. It was ruined, he totally tore down my whole engine, and my AC unit is sitting in my hatch along with a bunch of other parts. My engine I got back in buckets, that’s right, everything was broken down to nothing and was in buckets. He stole my battery and the housing and charged me the full $2,000 I had already paid to ruin my car. I have talked to serval mechanics and showed them pictures, everyone was blown away by the total incompetence on Tyler’s part. My 2014 WRX is ruined. No mechanic wants to put everything back together because as I have been told by many that most of what was tore down was not needed and actually ruined parts of it, so I will basically have to buy everything new. One of the worst parts of it is that I found out it was not a blown engine rod, because by his own admission he did not have to send it out to other shops, we will never know what was wrong because he went ahead and worked on my short block after he ruined my car most likely to be able to charge me for the parts he bought with my money that could only be used on my car. He was even too cowardly to face me and did not say a word to me when I picked up the car. This place should be shut down and if your car is here do yourself a favor and go get your car before he can ruin it like he did mine.
