Overcharged and unneeded services
I helped a friend of mine pick up a her 1997 Toyota pickup at TriStar. She took it in for an oil leak and ended up paying almost $5000 when she picked up the car. She paid $1000 for replacing the gasket to fix the oil leak. Additional items they suggested and she paid for were replace spark plugs and wires (4.5 he labor)($1100), check the differential oil, replace the brake fluid and adjust the rear brakes. She is a hard working farmer and doesn’t deserve being treated like this.

Go anywhere else...trust me
Took my tire to tri star to have it PATCHED, not plugged. Got my tire back and the guy had plugged it. I didnt notice that at the time so I
tipped him $10. They charged me $35.00. Put it back on my truck, it went flat. The guy had put so much air pressure in it that it made a bubble on the side wall and it wouldn't seal around the rim. Took it back up there, they kept the tire overnight, I had to call the next day to find out about it. They had forgotten my name and number. Went back that afternoon, tire had white marks around the bubble and they said I needed a new tire. Of course no one knew anything about the bubble. Then I noticed they had put some kind of sealant around the rim to keep it from leaking. Had to go buy another tire for $180.00 plus $ 45.00 I wasted at Tri star not to mention all the time off of work.I should have known better when I pulled in their parking lot and seen all the broke down vehicles setting there...if you care about your vehicle do not go to Tri star automotive in Tyrone ga.

Auto Repair Gone Bad
Please make sure you stay away from this place, they will take your money. I brought my car in for a radiator hose replacement and a wiper motor replacement. I spent over $1400 dollars and the the wipers are still not working and when I left there lot, all of my antifreeze leaked out. I had to take it back to the shop for them to repair a hose they took a loose and that charged me and additional $130. I took it back today because the wipers did not work and they wanted and additional $390 to replace the wiper motor again plus the cost for a new wiper motor. Stay away, I’m not sure if they treat everyone this way, or it could be certain people.
