Toyota universe the worst dealership I ever used
It was a Saturday when I went to purchase my Toyota Rav 4 2021 model, traded my Toyota 2002 sienna with 88k was told it was old it wasn’t worth much but would give me 1200 dollars ok , After completion of the sale it was 7:00pm got the key drove about 2 miles noticed the hood shaking pulled over tried closing the hood wouldn’t lock, so called the manager Darden who signed of on the purchase told her m what happened he said bring the car back but I don’t have any mechanics they have gone home for the day we are closed Sunday so it will be Monday before anyone can look at the car, asked if I could take the car to another Toyota in Brooklyn flat out refused you are on your own , Then I asked if he’ll give me cab fare to Brooklyn since I just spent 30k he refused again tied down and he hood went to a local mechanic who charged me $50:00 it was a spring that need replacing thought my troubles were over after parking went home next day came out front right tire was flat didn’t think nothing of it fooled it with air didn’t drive for next few day because we have alternate side parking where I live 3 days later when I looked at the car the tire was flat when to a tire shop he said all 4 tires were bad with dry rot went to Toyota universe to pick up a second key fob which they had to programme gave them the car told them what had happened the girl at the reception told me no worries we do 27 point check we’ll take care of that tire while I was waiting I saw my sienna which I had traded in went to look at it they had a sold sign on it there was still the price on the back window $9995 I felt sick to my stomach got my car back after 2 hours got the car back went to Brooklyn guess what next day a flat so I started calling at least 10 times trying resolved the issue Darden insisted it was my fault he said I can give you one tire you have to come here I asked if they could ship it he refused,It would cost me 30 dollars in tolls to get to Toyota universe, so decided I’ll get inspection went to get inspection was told it’s gonna fail unless I buy 4 new tires went to pep boys got 4 new tires for 700 then alignment for $125, I got a survey from Toyota universe gave them one star a week later got a call from a manager what my issues were told him he told me one of the head managers would call me 2 weeks ago I got a call it was a machine please wait you are being transfers to a manger phone rang for a while then the machine said no one available someone will call you soon that was about 10 days ago
