Scheduled an appointment to get a set of tires. 5.5hrs later received the vehicle with a broken stud. This was obviously broken as the lug-nut stuck out away from the wheel and the stud was broken clean through. The technician clearly knew he broke it and just stuck the nut back in the wheel. I was asked to return the next day to have the stud/lug-nut replaced at no charge. 8hrs later I receive the vehicle with the wrong type nut. When I inquired; I was lied to by the technician saying they no longer made lug-nuts for my truck. I went across the street and purchased the correct lug-nut from O'Reillys for $3. Now I have to take it somewhere else to get the lug-nut exchanged and the others checked out to make sure they are not stripped and/or over torqued. This is the second time I have issues like this with Tires Plus Larpenteur. The last time they rotated my tires they broke the stud but claimed no responsibility and would not fix it. This is because I had driven off the lot with out inspecting the vehicle first. Ended up costing me $112 at the the dealer to fix. I get it prices are low on tires but at what cost! I'm definitely paying more for piece of mind somewhere else. I recommend you do the same.
