Ruined My Van! Did not do work took in for & double charged on pick up!
Took my Chevy Van Motor home to get the gas gage working, new cover for back tail light, AC fixed & water hose repaired. Was told for 1,250.00 they would also do *1500.00 more charged on pick up making it almost 3,000.00 with not asking first*.
They had it a month & said parts were hard to find so I assumed the parts for tail light and hose were taking awhile... They never even looked at those! DID NOT DO THE WORK I TOOK IT IN FOR AND WAS PAYING TO HAVE DONE! All they did was power steering and a part for AC as it showed on receipt at pick up. My brakes are still the old ones but now brake worse & No Pin holding steering in behind wheels. I was made to believe they put new brakes in when they did the power steering. I just assumed they did all things I asked as listed in the work order. I WAS WRONG THEY DID NOT. After driving it for just a few miles from Tilden Auto Care on Alta Mere the check engine light came on and stays on, it needs jump started to even start! When I try to drive it out it dies on me. When I try to turn it off it keeps running & puts out white smoke. I only wanted it improved to drive it to Livingston Texas and put it on my land so I could live in it while working on my house & save money. It wont make it even a few blocks so I had to get an apartment to live and work in since they ruined my van. It was not broken so I should not taken it in at all. Wished I looked into reviews and their reputation first I would have avoided them totally! They do not reply to BBB to attempt to make it right.
